Hullo. Even after 3 years, your information is welcomed and relevant, and I thank you!

Thank you! I am glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching.
I just bought my first Kitchenaid mixer , waiting for its delivery and am firstly excited to make my own butter, given the exorbitant price these days of butter. Seeing your antique butter moods I thought what a beautiful gift it would be to give homemade butter as a gift, along with a homemade loaf of bread. You’re very inspiring!
I do feel like “City mouse visits country mouse” , watching you slay the homestead journey lol. Cheers from Canada 😊
That would make a beautiful, thoughtful gift.
Your butter molds are so pretty and the butter ball idea is genius!
Thank you and yes it is genius, I have a smart daughter to figure that out. It really works well !

Do u have a video showing your use of the molds?

Where do you find the butter cot(?) or buttder barrel that you store the butter in?
I think you can find them online. I'll try to add a link in my description.
Everything is nice BUT this ideas take LOTS OF TIME that nowadays we lack. In the real life that is not apllyeble. Just put in small plastic containers and freeze them. Simple.
I find the balls really quick and easy to make and easier to use.
Is it possible to can homemade butter?
I have seen some people say that they have done it, but I haven't ever seen instructions for how to do it properly so I just freeze mine. Thank you for watching.
@@RamblingRoseFarmhouse yeah I wasn't able to find anything either.. freezing is what I'm doing also, thanks for the reply
@@devinepickins984 check out Homestead heart. She cans butter.
Clemson ag dept had something on their site I read recently about this, they said that although the internet was full of people trying it, there was no way a home canner could get to the right temp to avoid botulism. Even a pressure canner gets to like 240, but dairy needs 275. BUMMER.
