i swear that 102mm gun is SO sexy. The tank has more moving camo than a 430u, it has decent view range with optics/vents. This is a real gem of a TD in the tier 6, very nice

Meanwhile, American and German 105 derp guns don't even get 105mm of penetration with fecking HEAT! I think most other derp guns have 53mm of pen with HE and like 102 with HEAT...
By the way, the stock gun isn't even that bad, it has good accuracy and 70mm of HE pen. Might make the grind bearable. (Remembers the Jagdpanzer IV grind... Yuck)
Compare this thing to a fully upgraded Jg Pz IV lmfao, that poor thing is so powercrept
I loved the 105 mm gun in the M4 and the Pz IV before WG nerfed the HE shells.
But this gun in the Bassoto is more like the howitzer in some British tanks. What a ballistic arc !!! And the gold shell is even slower !!!!
I think that this shells are sooooo slow that when the enemy tanks see them closing thru the air they have time to move aside to avoid being hit. 😅
I love this tank with the medium gun. My biggest problem is match making. This morning in 22 battles I was bottom tier in all of them! Not one single tier 6 battle! That's why I choose the middle gun for it's higher penetration!

A sexy AFV, with the 102mm it's currently my second-best Tier VI (experience rank-wise) after my AMX 13 F3 AM but I need to play the latter more to be sure of that comparison. Only the Su-100/Su-100 Y has more alpha but it's so fragile that it's a serious challenge to use that firepower without suffering return fire.
With the 105mm it's one of my _worst_ tanks in the tier, but again more testing needed. The aim time is pretty bad.
In a typical battle I earn just as much experience spotting (with binos) as I do damaging but it's not good at winning battles. With the 102mm it seems balanced so far.

I'm really enjoying this TD. Good fun. It's got some similarities to my other favorite tier 6 TD the SU100 but sneakier. I usually play with the 102/40 360 Alpha gun as it seems to work for me. So far my best game is 3,546 damage which even beat my best SU100 3040 damage. This TD is definitely a keeper.

I think this tank will be sleeper OP, with bounty LNE I have 61% camo stationary and 41% moving. That's pretty insane, plus it has 360 alpha with good DPM unlike all the other high alpha tier 6 TDs.
For this vehicle, I think rammer / binos or optics / LNE is a good choice, despite the fact that it does want IAU to help the poor accuracy I think LNE makes the camo quite broken.
When I compared the 105mm gun the only reasonable choice was russian SU-100 with 122mm d-2-5s no other td in tier VI has so much alpha xD

I'm loving tier 6 at the moment, it's the last tier before the game becomes a hull down gold slinging pixel hunting irritation imo, I'm just going back and 3 marking my last few tier 5s and 6s and it the most fun I have had in ages.
Tier 6 is hot steaming pile of shit where no one has any idea how to play the game.
@ivex91 Yep, thats why its fun, I can predict almost exactly where every tank will go on every map at higher tiers, every game is dull and repetitive, hull down heavies just slinging gold at each other over the same ridgelines while the lights sit in the same 2 spotting bushes every time, maybe there will be a suicidal EBR but otherwise you can predict which team will win from just looking at the tank lineup and spawn. .
lower tiers, you will get crazy stuff like one of the British ATs just driving straight through the middle of the map and blocking 5k damage or a complete lemming rush of fast lights and mediums all going one flank, if you don't expect anything from your team mates and always expect them not to support you then you won't get stressed when they inevitably drive out sideways or backwards with their heavy tank or fail to reset the cap or all the other annoyances. .
This TD line just seems like it should be heavies. What separates them from heavies...

Semovente M41 is in the game at tier V and the tier VI you are watching is called Semovente M43 Bassotto.

Bassotto means dachschund (the sausage dog). Italian tankers called them that because of how low they were compared to the earlier Semovente M40/ M41 /M42

Derp gun for 15mm more gold pen over the better gun handling and shell velocity? I dont see the point to shoot 440 100mm pen he even in tier 6 when you can shoot 360 175mm pen ap more accurately.

Tier 5 and 6 are a pile of poop. OMG what horrible guns they have. They have less flexibility than an iron stick. I would prefer allways su100 or hellcat
