- A short comparison video between the different levels of Quick Sheath and how much they affect the animation speed of the Longsword's Special Sheath move. The video goes in the order of Quick Sheath 0 to 3 for Rise, and then 0 to 3 for World.
This was done by hand, counting the frames in the video using a video editing process, from the frame the animations start (which is denoted by the sheath vanishing from the character's back) to the moment the animation vfx ends, this was trickier to do in World, but hopefully I got the point across.
Due to being done manually, this is of course prone to human error, so if someone can make a more scientific method of showcasing this, I'd be delighted. - Hry
bruh even the MHrise no quicksheath is more quick than MHW lv3 Quicksheath
Special sheath yes.
But the round slash recovery sheath does go from 2 seconds with .75 second end lag to 1 second with no end lag.
basically rise its actually worth to run quick sheath
in IB hell nah dont even bother
Yeah, in Rise it's basically "run QS3 or bust"
in iceborne is like "just don't. literally everything else is better."
Fun fact: in MHW Iai sheath speed is halved by default by a single parameter, and quicksheath works on the this new value so the speed increase will be ridicously low.
Capcom.
thanks for video was helpful
Can you quick sheath on Monster Hunter World or is it only Iceborn?
Only iceborn
Sound in worldborne is satisfying
Mhw Quick sheath is for sheathing your weapon on your back
MHWI gives the heavyness of a weapon. Very immersive compared to Cartoony Rise
