I was so excited to get my masterbuilt smoker from qvc despite the negative reviews customers left about it not working properly. What do you know mine failed on me after a couple uses. They sent me a new controller but the problem was in the motherboard which is a known issue. I couldn't send the smoker back because I replaced the power cord with a metal one so my dog wouldn't eat it. Long story short I wish they would have still warrantied the smoker because the problem was the motherboard. I ended up just buying a Char-Griller Akorn smoker which I would recommend over the masterbuilt.
