  • Do you know what muscle whispering is? Neither did I until I met Alex Lewis. I learnt a lot talking to him. What a thoroughly lovely guy. I wish I could have captured all the sub chats we had while I was fiddling about with my new camera, he is so interesting and his outlook and gratitude towards his life is contagious.
Are you an amputee? Alex is actively seeking out willing participants to help students develop new and exciting prosthesis. Prosthetics are intended to restore the normal functions of the missing body part, but how can an able bodied student really know what it's like to live every day with limbs missing unless they talk to someone who has to survive like that. By working with amputees students can discover what is really needed and by using feedback from potential end users they are able to create far more effective and cost effective designs.
The BeGlad Movement big charity challenge is to collect 100 stories of good coming out of bad and reasons to be glad by the end of 2018, this is so we can help support each other with our experiences and to raise money for the Samaritans and Action for Happiness. If you would like to donate it would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you!
