Kinda wish you returned there post game, like after riding the boat. I mean new game+ is cool but a post game location with respawnable enemies would be awesome.

This is when all the action starts to turn into utter horror, crossing the dark village at night, low visibility, when you see an enemy is 1 foot away from you already, the fear of falling into one of the bear traps, not even your guns make you feel safe. What a masterpiece.

I felt the exact opposite, this is the point where you have enough gear and healing items to not feel completely defenseless and start being able to style on your enemies
And when you finally think you're the one in control you reach the castle and feel like a defenseless b*tch again

The village in the morning feels like a fun action packed adventure. But at night... You no longer feel so confident
The village in the day time can be pretty scary too. Especially at the part you're surrounded and the chainsaw man shows up.
There is nothing remotely fun about Leon’s situation.

the fact that it’s dark, raining, has lightning flashes *and* has enemies hiding around every corner with glowing red eyes makes this by far among the scariest segments in gaming history.

Man... the village and the farm were more creepy in the night...
even though it is clichéd in horror movies and games whenever a thunderstorm occurs, re4 pulled it off brilliantly. with nearly all the gates boarded up, you wanted to get out of the village asap.

There’s always these sublime little moments where the atmosphere is palpable. The way Re4 balances this dread with its alertness is special.

Fato curioso, mesmo em batalha a música continua sendo a mesma, causando mais tensão ao jogador por não saber ao certo se a batalha contra o inimigo já tenha terminado. Essa é uma das melhores partes do game

Quando criança eu morria de medo de andar pela vila a noite, parecia mais perigoso, e ainda tinha a Ashley, que atrapalhava mais que ajudava.
i remember being a kid rushing through this part because i was too scared to stay much longer. And that segment in the cabin with the horde of ganados, man that was intense.
This song gives you chills. The village at night is terrifying!

Memories man. I just played this game earlier. This is so creepy and the helicopter sound in the background. This is honestly the best game of all time
I hadn’t even noticed that it was the helicopter! And it makes perfect sense because of the call you get afterwords informing you that the chopper was shot down
The atmosphere of this game's soundtrack is unreal. It reminds me of the early Tomb Raider games which featured a similar mix of action, puzzle-solving, and horror, and those games had similarly fantastic ambient sound design. RE4 is really unique amongst the RE series and it's just pitch-perfect in so many ways.
Este es de los sundtracks que más se me quedaron grabados de allá cuando mi hermano lo jugaba en play 2, y de las veces que yo lo jugué.
Creo que es de los mejores logrados.
Volverlo a oír te da a entender porque con el tiempo, si bien se sigue amando escenarios como el castillo, se considera mejor la zona de la aldea.

I really like that this soundtrack has regenerator theme in the background. That one scares the shit out of me even now, so it adds a lot more creepiness to Echo in the dark
Essa trilha sonora e essa ambientação noturna com aquela chuva,clima de tempestade, melhor parte do jogo na minha opinião, bem balanceado com terror e ação. O jogo é perfeito, mas se tivesse essa pegada assim o jogo todo seria bem equilibrado o terror com a pegada de ação

O que destoou demais foi algumas partes da ilha com exagero na ação. Acho que se essa parte tivesse sido mais como a parte dos regenerators seria incrível também.

RE4 was one of my favourite games since 2008.
But this soundtrack still scares the shit out of me, it creates a very dark, scary and imposing atmosphere, SO CREEPY.

I was certainly not “hanging out” playing pro mode for the first time in months on this segment earlier today… I just wanted out of there and when I got hit near the end I didn’t care enough to restart and do it all over. This creepy music was stuck in my head all day… I guess it’s more of melodic ambience

Doing this part in VR was one of the scariest but awesome experiences I ever had. Having to watch for any ganado in the console release is scary, but being in Leon's shoes and having to turn around trying not to trip makes this part even scarier

I always thought it kinda sounded like a plane. Which is funny, because you're trying to reach your extraction helicopter, but it is shot down soon after this music starts. Amazing little detail added to the ambience. This game is almost perfect
