Remember folks...before Lady D...there was HER, the original RE noblewoman villaness
YES!!!! YESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dimitrescu is just a thirsty teenage bait. With no significance to the story as a whole, a villain of the week.
Alexia is one of the three driving forces behind Umbrella. A titular *Evil* that *Resides* within.
@@RichterBelmont2235 True, Lady Dimitrescu was basically weak in impact
Lady Alexia Ashford was more scary, along with her sadistic tendencies
Amen, brother 🎉 Alexia would wreck Lady D’s shit in seconds. T Veronica virus ain’t no joke

LMAO
Wesker: I fear no man but.... That thing...
*Sees Alexia laughing.
Wesker: It scares me...
Alexia might be the only thing that makes Wesker uneasy
(Proceeds to run like a little bitch)
She pretty dangerous, even though Wesker is so fast she was still able to burn him. A wonder how Christ managed to beat her.
@@kagetsuki23with a special weapon that Alexia's father created. With out it, she was indestructible
I've never heard a musical piece so perfect for a final boss fight.
Dancing Mad?
Yes 😃
This boss battle music reminds me that of P.E (Paracite Eve) .
3:18 OH MY FUCKING GOD, THIS WOMAN HAD THE TIME OF HER LIFE SINGING THIS SONG.
Code Veronica (the original obviously) was the most amazing RE story ever. Playing as Claire, leaning about the Ashfords, thinking Alexia is dead, Wesker is still alive and is superhuman!? OMG we are Chris again and he is a total badass!? Redfields finally reunited. Alexia actually IS alive? Epic showdown after epic showdown. It was almost too much for a RE game and I loved every second of it.
darthkahn45 i agree ! Wesker return ! Trav brother Alfred ahah
Alexia in a cell reborn
Alexander is nosferatu ! Emprisoned by both sons for desonorited the familly since Veronica ... Best re ever , the l'astrologie cutscene where alexia cross down the stairs with wesker battle god i want a remasterised
Liked the game but the story is just a clusterfuck
The story will probably forever remain the greatest they've ever done of Resident Evil.
That was the thing I loved most about CV. The story kept you interested and it was awesome to see Chris and Claire reunite, as well as play as the both of them. Plus, CV had some of the most darkest and saddest moments. Steve's death actually made me cry.
CV is great, underrated imo.
This theme is completely insane, can't stop replaying...
Essa música é tão bom que faz o piano pegar fogo, LITERALMENTE
I don't care if she kills me, her battle theme is so badass. I could play this song all day.

I remember finding Alexia both beautiful and terrifying when I was young. Watching my dad play through Code Veronica and getting to the end is one of my fond gaming memories.
This is no joke one of the best musical pieces I've ever listened to. It would be a dream come true to be able to play this in band.
Bro I know the feeling. I was in choir back in high school and I’ve always dreamed of doing a performance like that alongside a band.

Amazing orchestra, sounds awesome.

I love how the old & new Alexia REALLY represent *psychopathy* in two different ways. *The old Alexia is calm, imposing, collected, stoic, and just add in a dose of brutality to her character. She also happens to hold herself above all others, but shows it through her actions entirely. She has total confidence in her abilities and isn't afraid to show it. Her lax gait does a fine job at hiding her covert insanity and she drops the pretenses in the presence of those she deems imminent credible threats. With her brother dying upon moments of her new-found power she was given the motivation to usher the world in a new age under her power.*
*The new Alexia is interactive, flamboyant, out-spoken, cheerful, and mixed with large amounts of sadism (the sadism is apparent after injecting T -Veronica). Despite her cheerful disposition she has a no-nonsense type of approach and can occasionally be considerably more bold then her old counterpart. She responds negatively to failure and she typically recoils (shown when she killed her brother as punishment). She, like her old counterpart holds herself above all others. HOWEVER, she makes the habit of bragging AND showing off her near limitless bag of tricks. She flaunts around her superiority complex confidently with a sense of assurance. Boasting a need for domination, it acts as her main motivation for wanting world-wide control. She won't stop until everyone serves her experiments*.
The T-Veronica virus allows hosts to retain most of their mental facilities and doesn't slowly destroy the psyche like the T-Virus or G-Virus does but you become a B.O.W reguardless.
Later hosts like Carla or Simmons already have sadism in their personality so the Veronica Virus likely develops increased levels of active brutality in hosts (like most other virus infected hosts except for Wesker who was ALWAYS brutal). The G-Virus variant in the enhanced C-Virus slowly degraded their mental facilities and that is why they act MUCH different than they do before the enhanced C-viral infection. Carla had more of the C-virus in her system from being experimented on and from the enhanced strain. Her transformation into a amorphous mass represented her partially insane mind losing its 'shape' and becoming 'shapeless' (that's why she would shout random words and noises like G before her). Derek's infatuation with Ada heightened beyond want and developed into a sociopathic need to control her. His numerous transformations signify his phases regarding his infatuation with Ada.
Overall, Alexia is pretty much a female Wesker. Both are classy, insane, narcissistic psychopaths who view themselves as gods.
***** She wishes to indulge more than her ego. She wishes to have domination over others. That one trait within her personality shows her sociopathy. Egomaniacs want to be the center of attention and as a result many are perfectionists, emotionally needy, sometimes impulsive, and even failure intolerant. These do show signs of her psychopathy.
+Titanicgamerdude Totally agree. A very good analysis.
+matteo mm And bored out of her fucking mind. Seriously, her plan could've been stopped if someone gave her a damn PS1, which has the better Resident Evil games.
Which Alexia do you like more? And in which game is the second Alexia?
Also what means "lax gait"?
Cloud A person's foot movement and overall body language. I like both Alexia's actually. I can't decide which one is better though, because theyre both well-written.
Never really hits how completely lackluster most RE Engine soundtracks are until I revist this.
God, we need more villains like Alexia. Her backstory is so cool and theirs more to her than the whole "Conquer the world, im a god" thing most RE badguys have as of late. Not to mention that her battle is one of the best in the whole series.
Actually most main villains' motivations aren't world domination including the recent ones.
Albert Wesker wanted to evolve the human race and become a God.
Alex Wesker wanted to obtain immortality and become a God.
Alexia Ashford wanted to rule the world as a Goddess. (She already believes she's a God)
Alfred Ashford just wanted to help his sister reach her goals.
Carla Radames wanted the world to burn down.
Curtis Miller was framed and wanted revenge.
Derek Simmons wanted to control the American government.
Eveline wanted friends and family.
Glenn Arias wanted money and revenge.
Jack Norman wanted revenge against Lansdale.
James Marcus wanted revenge against Umbrella.
Javier Hidalgo wanted to obtain immortality and become the most powerful crime lord in the world.
Etc...
@@revenge3265 Totally Agree.. Motivation Needs Trigger. And Every Villain Have a Reason or Two to Start Their Plans
@@112doublegamer3 there is a problem a villain from resident evil is not going to tell you about his childhood or his motivations for his goals, that's why there are the documents scattered throughout the game, it sounds very anime that they start telling you everything as a casual conversation in a duel to the death , Wesker and Alexia were created and educated to have high ambitions and to be heirs to their supposed parents.

The most beautiful part of this comp are the transitions. While the songs themselves are fantastic, the way it all flows together is so graceful, especially the phase 2 introduction. I was pleasently surprised to hear how seamless it was.

Resident evil have the most beautiful musics ever
If they make a Code Veronica remake I hope they use the original theme for Alexia or some epic remix of it.
BEST. SOUNDTRACK. FOR THE BEST. CHARACTER. EVER.
I just love how in the Darkside Chronicles they made real orchestral pieces of music out of the synthesized soundtracks of CVX. As much as I love the old soundtrack the new one is far superior. And I'm not even insulting the old one because it's the same composer so it just represents an evolution out of the old one. I loved how they added real latin chanting (both male and female) instead of the synthesized hum without any meaning. The soundtrack of DC simply wasn't designed to be looped endlessly like the one in CVX. A very good example of the latter is the Song "Last Judgement" used in the Remake of Resident Evil 2. Also a song which doesn't get looped and loops just the ending part.
I love Alexia Ashford, she is my favorite villain of Resident Evil
That laugh though ...
Love how all of the themes blend together so perfectly. Alexia definitely has the best boss music for sure.
They need to remake Code Veronica.
God I hope they remake Code Veronica after 3. Second favourite game after 2

@@juliogomesdesouza9035 sorry I was putting the classic SFX, but I might give it a try but I just meant the old versions have very unique re-ish style. I think I heard the new el gigante soundtrack and I didn't like it and didn't hear anything new after.

I love how the villains of Resident Evil have men amd women equally powerful and equally epic.
I see her as THE perfect Bio-Organic Weapon. She's smart, she's powerful, can spawn dragonflies, she's the first bow capable of fly and she can control the T-Veronica Virus at will.
2.- would be Lisa Trevor by being almost conscious of her state (and i highly doubt she's dead due all the shit the scientist put on her + Parasite Nemesis Alpha)
3.- William Birkin, only a NUKE could kill birkin. Because the G-Virus refuses to die and regen EVERYTHING! Not conscious tho, more like a wild animal after G3 phase.. but, not so fun fact; it is known that certain predators in the wild can remember and hold a grudge against their hunter if they come out alive. A tiger (if i remember correctly) spent more of 7 days tracking his hunter.

One of the best themes in the series. In remember I let Alexia walk up to me not knowing what to expect. I was shocked she picked me up and toasted me with one shot.
Code veronica probably has the best Story for me in any RE games
To reword the previous person, rewriting Alexias character to kill her borther destroys the creepy bond that kept the two going. Its what kept Alfred doing what he does throughout the game, and is the reason Alexia wants you dead by the end of the game - both reasons are missing in chronicles making plotholes
Not to mention excluding Weskers role in the story (This game was meant to be the big reveal he was alive after being thought dead) and severely limiting Chris'
to be fair you really think alexia's bond with him was genuine? considering shes a narcissistic psychopath like wesker? hows that a plothole tho?
@@ScoutTrooperMan 9 years, wew.
But yeah, as depicted in the game she definitely cared for him. Its the entire reason she drags Steve and Claire back, now theres no reason to.
You CAN argue that she maybe saw him closer to a pet mouse than a brother, but she wouldnt kill him like in Darkside.
@@KotoCrash fair. i mostly believe she just saw him as a pet mouse than a brother since... well alexia is pretty much just like wesker in lots of ways
@@ScoutTrooperMan She put him in her cryo chamber to preserve his body.
@@ScoutTrooperMan Well, yes, that's the whole point about their creepy bond. They're both altered clones from the same person, Alfred even being a genetic anomaly in that they only wanted one (Alexia) but spawned two instead. In other words, the reason why these two narcissists would and could care about each other is that they're both, for better or worse essentially one person.
It would be kind of like if your arm spawned off you and grew into a living entity in its own right, human-like and all. It's still ultimately you, and could be argued to just be another you.
Goddamn imagine Chris vs Alexias final battle with this theme on the freakin RE ENGINE.

Capcom will cut 75% of the battle and new age shills will swallow it up anyway, just like they did with RE3R.

Best thing about the new Resident Evils is by virtue of coming out when they did, the music sounds really, really good.
Alexia is my all time favorite villain, she was an amazing character and I wish we could have seen her more.
Hear the lyrics of the song: They are there, sung by the singer, but they don't say anything at all. This clearly represents how Alexia is clearly unhinged on the inside, her madness now exposed for all the world to see.
That's what I call brilliance with capital letters.

It seems logical for RE3 to be a spin-off, since it acts as a side story to RE2 having happened on the same day as it and not having a big plot impact, whereas code Veronica is like a continuation to Claire’s story exactly from RE2

I was so disappointed that Code Veronica X had Wesker fight her on equal grounds and vastly preferred the original where she bitch-slapped him down the stairs. At that point in the timeline, Alexia was far stronger than Wesker, though he eventually outclassed her. I mean come on. She is injected with the superior T-Veronica and was Telepathic and nearly omnipotent. Sometime before RE5, Wesker decided that he'd become a God... Something that Alexia was very close to achieving. Hell, I don't even think Chris and Claire stood a chance.
I do and don't agree. If Chris can beat her with just a few magnum rounds, I don't see why Wesker would get his ass handed to him. Even though Chris is the playable character and can't die lol. I just think Capcom wanted to make Wesker more of a badass than a huge pussy like he seemed in the dreamcast version.
billypie1234 plot convienince tbh
***** I'm afraid that isn't really an insult around here, try again
billypie1234 I think it only too a couple of magnum bullets because Wesker was able to get in a good punch on her before hand. Yes, Alexia was more powerful but Wesker was still pretty powerful as well.
+TheSlammurai I feel that wesker being on equal grounds with her but coming up short purely out of awe of both who he is and what she has become makes this the best cutscene in the series to this day. To wesker and those who he worked with Alexia is like a myth . A story within umbrella surrounded in mystery and now here she is standing in front of him it doesn't seem real but it is.
