Eman Productions they gotta bring merchant back into a new re game. Apparently re8 will be based in a village and have similar enemies to re4 so I’m hoping they might bring him back in re8. Probably not though.
I never see anybody credit RE:0. I feel like it’s an underrated theme :/
KingKhalio because it doesnt really have an actual save room, theyre just type writers placed around the map with no music to them.... Maybe they got it from one instant.

I often think why specific music brings on such strange emotions, it can’t even be an evolutionary thing because we haven’t evolved over hundreds of thousands of years with music
The music is somewhat mixed and distorted like someone's memories or something and maybe the current condition of RE4 scenario. I feel anxious hearing that theme

its like 15-16 for me, like when resident evil remake came out. I was a little kid and my bro built up his new game cube. He also bought that came that recently came out, resident evil remake. I was watching him playing it. Ill never forget the nightmares i had. And especially the music. Giving me chills today hearing it ^^

RE-4 gives me extreme nostalgia, I played this game when I was younger, and I honestly miss this game a lot. Hearing the save theme again is like heaven to me. If heaven was filled with nostalgic memories and your childhood.

Very well said. By far the best theme of the bunch. It’s magical in the sense that you can hear the struggle, but at the same time, it’s so calming and relaxing. There’s a version with rain and thunder sfx that I definitely recommend.

wILL I say it’s the best because of the face that it doesn’t follow any sense of rhythm, yet still gets the job done and creates amazing ambiance. But yeah, that is just opinion. I also love the Umbrella Chronicles theme and the Dead Aim theme.

The Remake "Safe Heaven" is by far my favorite. Its so relaxing and really does contrast all the horrendous crap you face in the mansion. followed closely by the Code veronica save music

They're the best ones. I love all the others but they're too samey, with CV being the best, and they all kind of blend together. RE2 and 3 sound different, they have their own identity amongst all of the ascending note patterns and arpeggios found in all the others

By far the best are Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 they are bone chilling and leave you feeling vulnerable, and tense like your actually in the fight for survival but at the same time they give you a sense of calmness and relief those themes sound and go hard as fuck beautiful music!
I agree in part, but really I find the themes sinister. Only they did not finish to leave the player more relieved, which in theory is the function of a room of rescue.

Every single one of these themes inspire some sort of nostalgia for a different point in my life when I played each game. Video game soundtracks truly are unique and special for the experiences and moments they remind me of.

NewOldGamerGuy Yeah man, I figured it'd just be boring to make one with just the logos, but you've taken it to the next level! Having compiled every theme thus far with visuals like that lovely horizon for RE5's and the underwater setting for Revelations. The woods for RE7 is a great choice too. They match the audio well.

Leon enters the mysterious door, and finds the merchant waiting for his customers.
Leon has a ton of gold to spend.
He decided that he has some things to sell and to tune up.
As the walks up to the stand, the humble Merchant says:
"Welcome! Got a selection of good things on sale, stranger!"
The Merchant shows his collection of guns, rockets, and maps.
Leon then asks the Merchant if he can make his pistol stronger.
"What are you buying?"
"Is that all, stranger?"
"Eheheheh, thank ya."
Leon also realized he has a treasure that is most likely rare here, so he pulls it out and shows the treasure to the Merchant.
"What are you selling?"
"Ah.. I'll buy it at a high price!"
"Eheheheh, thank ya."
Leon also needed a scope for his rifle, so he asked the Merchant if he had any.
"What are you buying?"
He then offers 4000 PTAS to the Merchant..
"Is that all, stranger?"
"Eheheheh! Thank ya."
Leon then equips his rifle with the new scope and thanks the merchant, leaving him behind to continue his mission.
"Come back anytime!"
Little did Leon know, this moment will be his most warm memory he had.
As Leon opens the door, he looks back at the Merchant,
"Good luck out there, Stranger."
The Merchant gives Leon a goodbye wave, and Leon responded with a nod.

RE Remake still gets me to this day, it's so creepy and yet so calm. I still remember playing the original and being scared of walking around those tiny halls, specially when the dogs get in. Such a great game for its time.

@@Heavenly_Son Some of the changes they made to the game via story/gameplay felt cheap and unnecessary as well as being rather rushed in places. Was still a fine game but not nearly as good or as faithful like the RE-Remake was to the original.

The RE4 and RE7 are the most atypical. Dead Aim is my second favorite, it's like floating in watery darkness. The best will always be Code Veronica's it's got a romantic feeling that makes it like you could listen to it for hours.

The Code Veronica save theme is my favorite. Actually the whole soundtrack while probably not the most popular , in my opinion its the best soundtrack in the series. Especially the final battle theme with Alexia. Phenomenal

Overall Resident Evil 2 had best sound track but code Veronica save room suspended doll and Pandora's box themes are outright creepy classics

God Code Veronica X was such an evil game. The whole game was sadistic torture.
That tyrant on the plane was the absolute worst.

Tyrant on the plane is easy. The Anti-B.O.W. grenade rounds are supposed to be saved for that fight. Then dodge him and plink off his health with explosive tipped bowgun arrows until he bleeds. After that, push the button for the crate (when tyrant is lined up with it) and launch him out of the plane.
Torturous indeed but with probably THE most beautiful and calming save theme of them all to balance it out a bit :D
I enjoyed CVX, played it for the first time about a year ago. But I do think it's one of the weaker ones. Way too much backtracking (even more than most RE games) and the areas were way too big and complex. The whole game just felt exhausting to me, like it was trying so hard to one up every other previous game in the series by having the biggest areas, the most items to collect, etc and it made certain parts feel like a chore. But I still enjoyed it overall. By the way I had to kill the Tyrant on the plane with only the box because I was out of ammo. That almost drive me insane.
The Resident Evil Remake is my favourite game in the series but Code Veronica has my favourite save theme.
6:37 - Outbreaks absolutely chilling song, makes you think you're in the room with the characters of the scenario sitting silently worried that the next area will be your last.
