  • Hi Guys!
Recently I bought a Champion Inverter Generator from Lowe's. It is a 4,650 watt with the 30 amp RV receptacle. I wanted to pick it up for when I am traveling and want to stop to rest or camp away from a electrical hook up. This gives way more freedom and options.
The generator is extremely quiet for it's size. It is on par with Honda as far as sound, but at a much lower price.
Thank you very much for watching!!!

As the dude behind the camera, it was not that loud, no worse than a car engine idling with the hood up. What amazes me is how the engine fired up on the first pull, even when we initially got the generator. I am used to yanking the starter numerous times to maybe get something to crank over. While not cheap, it seems like a solidly built generator!
As for me worrying about the load, during the initial 5-hour "break-in" time they do not want you exceeding ~50% load continuously. It is fine to go higher than that for short bursts.
