Making it to the end if the month and not being in the minus is a a huge win!!! Good job 👍

Your Dad is an absolute gem.💎
As a 62 year old grandmother I can tell you your kids are always your kids, the love never changes and that instinct to care for and protect them never stops.
It's so hard to keep up when your kid's have a growth spurt. My 13 year old grandson grew 2cm (he's now a 178cm giant) in a week and a full shoe size in a month! The $120 shoe's my daughter bought for him at the beginning of the school term in February no longer fit and he's outgrown his winter school uniform and will need a new one costing over $300.

Can you both buy clothes and uniforms at thrift stores? That’s where I buy 99% of my clothes.

@@Nwladylaura369 my grandson goes to a private school so uniforms can only be purchased through the school.

Maybe speak to other parents re buying their child’s outgrown uniforms. They may be. Struggling as much as your daughter. She could also look at trying to sell your grandsons grown out of uniform

Well done on your budget for April!
I’d watch weekly updates if that’s something you feel you want to do 🙂 I struggle with motivation to stay on top of our budget. Interests rates just went up again here yesterday 😏 I need all the motivation I can get to stay on track lol.

Thanks for sharing and fantastic effort for keeping in the black. I'd watch anything from you tbh but mid month and end of month would be great. 👍❤️

I agree! Your food budget is inspiring! We keep at Aldi to help. And petrol seems a bit cheaper at the moment, thank goodness! Has your Etsy store not generated any income? X

If you're not sure if the weekly updates would work then maybe stick with the fortnightly updates that you did for April? I can't quite remember if you've always done fortnightly check-ins or whether it's normally just end of month, but the halfway point is always a good place to stop, look back and reflect on what's happened so far, and then look at what's coming up.
Nice work on staying in the black though!

Well done on staying in the black. How did you do on starting to think through your “way forward?” Any ideas you’re toying with? I remember that was a goal. You’re welcome for the coffee. 💖

Make sure you are not throwing out any food. What gets bought gets eaten. You cannot afford to eat out, many people cannot afford to eat out, so don’t. You can take snacks from home to the park, etc.
Is there child support coming in? Can you work. Ore hours? Take in a boarder?
