You know which tv host seems like a genuinely nice person? Conan O’Brien. I saw his show at comic-con and he was super hoarse because he said that he’d been spending the weekend talking to fans (I believe him). During commercial breaks, he would go over to the edge of the stage and interact with the audience. After the show, he came out and signed autographs/took pictures for every person who was waiting for him. There were a ton of people. He also thanked everyone for coming and for being patient. Seemed like a humble guy.

My mum is an air hostess for first class and often works with celebrities. She was James’ person assistant on the entire flight and she said he was rude and acted like he was above her the whole time.
Hi, I worked for James, and I still have many friends that work on the show. I worked for our audience department, and the show is completely free to come to. Not one person in that audience has paid to be there, and I have never seen an audience member leave the show disappointed by their experience. Everyone was always happy and smiling. In regards to Carpool Karaoke, this was cleared up months ago. The car has only been on that rig in 5 total videos, when there is something involved that would make it dangerous for James to really drive- costume changes, dancing, props. etc. Every other time, he is actually driving. From my experience, he is genuinely very nice and friendly, kind to his staff, definitely nothing like what was said here. But, I also have seen the stories that people have about him so I can't really speak to others experiences and don't want to discredit them. Idk, to me he was amazing to work for and a genuinely nice person, it's sad to see others don't think so and have had these experiences.

Example that really brought it home to me recently, he did a carpool karaoke with BTS in early 2020 and one of them nicknamed him Papa Mochi. Then he did an interview with them in November about their new album. He enthused about it, then they asked him if he’d listened to it. He only talked about the song that’d been released months before, and it was a dead giveaway that he wasn’t familiar with any of the other songs 😂

I believe everything should be taken with a grain of salt. For all, we know most of the people who wrote comments might have never worked there or just worked for a month then got fired. We all had a person come to a job and be very weird in a lot of things regarding work, so that person got fired very quickly... I believe some people might be angry because of that and had some bad things to say, who can really tell. Regarding the writers pay, it can be interpreted very differently. Maybe he really wanted to do a program to give young up and coming writers an opportunity, but because they wouldn't have experience and were more, he couldn't pay them the same amount as the writers. For me, it tells a lot that he replied and tried to just explain while someone constantly wrote: "less pay"... I would much rather see an objective video about these issues rather than being sat against someone from the get-go.
All those shows hire "interns" to get around paying them. They know people are desperate to get into the biz so it's a legal way to save money. Not that they even need to.

And a lot of our comedy is a thing that other people from other places don't tend to get all that often. It's like how I've only heard of three American comedians who are any good, but I know there must be more that are any good. And saying English comedy isnt that great as in all of it is a bit of a bold statement.

In all his years of acting, I've never seen Patrick Stewart go off like that, even when drunk. I've seen him drunk in other interviews and he's usually just bubbly and fun. After he went through his own douchebag phase at the beginning of Star Trek, he did a complete 360 personality-wise. His costars quickly went from hating him to loving him. Since then, everyone has enjoyed working with him. Hell, the actors from Star Trek _still_ refer to him as "captain". James must have done something more to irritate him. He seems to have these super friendly relationships with celebs that when you dig a bit deeper are bollocks. Example that really brought it home to me recently, he did a carpool karaoke with BTS in early 2020 and one of them nicknamed him Papa Mochi. Then he did an interview with them in November about their new album. He enthused about it, then they asked him if he’d listened to it. He only talked about the song that’d been released months before, and it was a dead giveaway that he wasn’t familiar with any of the other songs 😂

I believe everything should be taken with a grain of salt. For all, we know most of the people who wrote comments might have never worked there or just worked for a month then got fired. We all had a person come to a job and be very weird in a lot of things regarding work, so that person got fired very quickly... I believe some people might be angry because of that and had some bad things to say, who can really tell. Regarding the writers pay, it can be interpreted very differently. Maybe he really wanted to do a program to give young up and coming writers an opportunity, but because they wouldn't have experience and were more, he couldn't pay them the same amount as the writers. For me, it tells a lot that he replied and tried to just explain while someone constantly wrote: "less pay"... I would much rather see an objective video about these issues rather than being sat against someone from the get-go.

When it was career day at my school, we got to listen to a professional journalist speak over zoom. At the end, kids asked her about the best and worst celebs she had gotten the chance to talk to. In all his years of acting, I've never seen Patrick Stewart go off like that, even when drunk. I've seen him drunk in other interviews and he's usually just bubbly and fun. After he went through his own douchebag phase at the beginning of Star Trek, he did a complete 360 personality-wise. His costars quickly went from hating him to loving him. Since then, everyone has enjoyed working with him. Hell, the actors from Star Trek _still_ refer to him as "captain". James must have done something more to irritate him. I doubt it was just a matter of him staring at his phone. From what I understand, a lot of Brits hate James. XD

I don't know if "douchebag" is the right word. More of a professional asshole. I guess he was classically trained, and that kind of hardened him. So when he went to America and saw them having fun on set, joking around, wasting tape, etc., he'd get all angry and preachy about how unprofessional they were. He was also so sure the show would fail that he didn't fully unpack his belongings until _two yeas_ after they started filming. But after about a year he learned to loosen up, warmed up to the other cast members, and now everyone he works with reportedly loves him.
