This, for me, is by far the most advanced and professional looking fpv drone ever made. So well refined.
I got mine a few days ago and I absolutely love it, definitely worth every single penny
I just bought a Mobula8 O3 and at first I was a little bummed when Flywoo came out with this one a week later.
I have to say, the frame and the propguards look very nice with the integrated led-strip but I am very concerned about the durability of this thing with the O3-lite mounted on the bottom like that.
The mobula8 flies great though and with tattu 550 batteries I get about 3.30 to 4 minutes of flight time.
It's also quite expensive compared to the Mobula8 or the Pavo Pico.
I just ordered a second Mob8 lite (without the O3) for about 83 Euro's.
The Flylens with the same elrs receiver cost about twice as much and you have to take into account that it uses larger more expensive batteries.
The only reason I would consider getting the Flylens 85 is because of the led's but I am not sure if that alone warrants the higher price.

A reason you might want GPS is the rescue if for whatever reason you lose the control link over water or something
Bro you shouldn’t be flying Nano or micros over water To capture your epic shot. These aren’t made to handle wind like a 5” or even a 3” drone, this is why GPS on a craft this small is pointless , wrong tool for the job, this is for low to no wind days and indoor flights, yes it’s light enough to rip outdoors and powerful, but not the job it’s meant for.. gps is a lot more weight to make this fly even worse outdoors.
When I crashed a drone because of RX Loss from now on I would put GPS everywhere :P Even on this tiny little drone ;)

Looks pretty nice to me. Nice video btw! Have you had any issues with the naked DJI 03 air unit overheating? When you plug it in on the bench do you need to run a fan on it?
In my time using the Flywoo naked O3 cage I have actually never gotten an overheating warning. When I plug in the battery I take off within 30 seconds so the O3 immediately gets airflow.
If you plug the drone in on the bench and are letting it sit you'll probably need a fan.
Seems like a nice Ripper, the price is still $50 above all the competitors, I love FlyWoo and stand by the Hex Nano fleet I own, but man they gotta bring the prices down or sponsor a brother 😂💪🏽 awesome review bud!
Can you do a range test and give me a rough idea of range in feet. Like can you go 1000 to 1500 feet without any issues assuming good line of sight?
I am at a point that I need to replace my Pavo 20 due to a burnt board...should I switch to this instead? Looking for the best non-GoPro option (I have another quad that has my stripped Gopro on it). This will be used on tours or events that I need to be under 250g. Thanks!

Just like you mentioned: the o3 at the bottom is extremely concerning. I may go with a Mobula 8: that’s between the pico and this one.

Read the rcinpower 1003 motor specs. Gemfan 2023 Tri blade are too much amp draw. Maybe gemfan 2009 or hq 51mmx3, but these props have lass thurst vs 2015
At 1:10 you comment on O3 video quality getting better since its release. Can you explain more about this?

DJI Has released updates for the O3 air unit improving the overall camera quality.
I’ll be sticking with Pavo pico.

ditto, i guess it could help keep the O3 "cooled down" since its not technically inside the frame. But at the same time I really question how durable this is lol.
