Bloods
The Bloods, also known as Original Blood Family (OBF), are a primarily African-American street gang founded in Los Angeles, California. The gang is widely known for its rivalry with the Crips. They are identified by the red color worn by their members and by particular gang symbols, including distinctive hand signs.

The Crips are a gang based in the coastal regions of southern California. They were founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1969, mainly by Raymond Washington and Stanley Williams. Once a single alliance between two autonomous gangs, they are now a loosely connected network of individual "sets", often engaged in open warfare with one another. Man, good thing about the whole G.S.F. Being either blood, or Crip it’s all about perspective which is what makes the game good. modding communities greater, and gameplay even better. You can choose. Still one of my personal favorites GTA games because of the story line and location with it being in the 90’s.

@@EnlightenedFrequency2 I wish it did! A crossover between them and Rockstar would be *thee* gaming event of all of history. Nothing would ever top it. Saints Row is a great series, but there's a couple of factors why it turned out how it did. One, they didn't want to be called a clone, but it kept happening even though they found their originality with SR2. Two, budget and company issues. There's a stronghold in SR2 strikingly similar to the mission in GTA V where Trevor blows up a trailer park with sticky bombs. Or vice versa, since SR2 came out before GTA V.

The funny thing is, Grove street Families are based after Limehood Bloods, and the Ballas are based after the Grape street Crips.
No youre wrong you think cause of them colours they said the Families exist longer then the ballas Families are Crips ballas are Bloods and in real life there are also crips who were Green.
Plus even CJs Franklins and Ryders voice actors (Young Maylay Solo and Mc Eiht ) are Crips in Real life.

I think the reason why it's not obvious if GSF are crips or bloods, is so they can avoid controversy about it, so they made it mixed, gave some crips and blood aspects to both.

That ain't true. If you go to official Rockstar Wiki, you can find that they say that Grove Street Family is inspired by Crips and Ballas by Bloods. Also Ryder was inspired by Eazy-E, who was a real member of the Crips

Grove st is more based off the crips because they set trip like the crips are known for doing. Also they originally owned glen park which is the game's version of kelly park which is a crip hood. Same as Idlewood being ballas turf which is based on inglewood which is blood dominated. The developers didnt base colours off real gangs, they used their home town's rival football team colours.

Yeah having real gangs would be more authentic, But GTA was never supposed to be a picture perfect simulation of real life, It's supposed to be a parody of real life. Having fictional gangs adds to the charm of GTA SA.

Depends on what your playing on. If your on Xbox, click the right stick and move the right stick. If it's PlayStation, do the same thing with r3. If it's PC then I really don't know. If it's mobile, click the hydrolics button and a green lock will pop up. Then just swipe in the direction that you want.
