I've read somewhere that Grove Street was a part of Ballas before but later they split up and made their own gang called "The Families" (?) If you will use img editor (the mod is model replace) then it will be forever, if you use modloader then you can enable or disable mod in mod configuration menu in the main menu
both grove and ballas have mixed aspects. Grove characters throw up B's but they say "loc" and "cuz", ballas throw up C's. they didnt make it to where you can say that one is flat out based on one of the real gangs
