Soul Magic and Soul Sessions definitely have some amazing sounds and good vibes. I haven't cop the packs as yet from NI as I haven't been on Maschine desktop app in a minute due my 2013 MPB overload issues and constant crashes since upgrading to Big Sur. I've recently gone mobile for now with a used 2018 iPad Pro and will wait until the next gen of the M1 chips from Apple. Hopefully all the kinks will be sorted out by then with developers software non native apps (maybe).

Glad to see you're creating and healthy. Now that I'm in the slow time of year for my business, I have some time on my hands, and I was thinking about getting back into production. Do you have a step by step tutorial on using basic daw for putting beats together? From the ground up, and I don't mean fruity loops 😂 I used to like making beats from scratch. Back in the day I would use my brother's Technics Kn920 ( I think ) keyboard with a sequencer, and I would put together pieces inside the workstation then run it track by track into my old Fostex vf80 digital multitracker.....then I would go REALLY crazy with it 😂 But nowadays, I want to skip the middle man, and run it right into a computer app, maybe with a midi controller.
And that bonus beat was also knocking.

🍀With all due respect: What I personally don't really like about this music is that the same basic groove, mostly consisting of 2 or 4 bars/chords, runs through the whole time.
If I compare that with songs by the musicians and songwriters, for example, from the 60s to the 80s, the heyday of rock and pop, there was variety in the chord progressions, intro, verse chorus, bridge and so on. Apart from the fact that back then, of course, people still made the music themselves and didn't have ready-made loops at the push of a button.
I really love these grooves and these beats have a great groovy vibe, I agree 100%, but this loop mode where the variety is mostly limited to just dropping in a few "ear catchers" here and there on other tracks, but those two or four basic chords go on and on and on... with two or four chords that are always the same, that's a very special kind of "songwriting". But there may be an explanation for it that I don't understand at the moment.😉

That's 2nd track was a standout Bruh. It's funny how you explained the same concept of bailing temporarily on one track to see where a sound goes, I just explained the exact same thing to someone the other day, that's how most of my tracks are created.
