I know we're getting into the realm of roleplaying games here, but ten candles can't be beat. It's a no prep ttrpg that you only need index cards, a bunch of dice and ten candles (as well as a fireproof bowl lol). The story gets created as you go, and the whole thing takes about two hours to run. But the basic story beat us that a unkillable entity emerges, and you play out civilization's last days before succumbing to "Them". Played with three to six players.
Wow so happy to see Nightmare on this list! I used to play Atmosfear (I think it was effectively the second edition of Nightmare? Or maybe thats what it was just called in the UK) with my family all the time when I was younger. Much nostalgia! I used to really love the DVD/VHS board games we used to have back then. Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Hunt was another I absolutely loved and actually think it aged pretty well too lol.
Loved this video! I've been wanting Witchcraft for the longest but can't seem to find it. Thanks for making this video! Looking at Final girl series...😊
3:52 “A Knock at the Door” is supposed to be from the movie “The Strangers.” It’s a super creepy movie that involves a couple staying in a vacation cabin that gets intruder by three masked strangers that try to kill them.
Witchcraft is going on the buy-list! I would love to try Mansions of Madness. If you have space in your collection, the Arkham Horror: the Card Game is great :)
Other games I would suggest are Ghost Brexit, Legends of Sleepy Hollow, Arkham Noir, along with the Betrayal at House on the Hill. All the Arkham and Eldritch Horrors are great too.
My niece really wants to play Mansions of Madness, and we looooove Horrified. You should try Demon Worker, I think you'd like it. And my solo gaymer self is really slacking on Final Girl... I just don't know if the gameplay will slap with me and which scenario to start with.
Great to learn that you are a fellow Canadian! Unfortunately my local game store doesn't have as wide a selection of games as I would have liked. Do you have any usual stores where you purchase games from, whether in-person or online?
Loved Atmosphere as a child ! Used to have nightmares about that Gatekeeper!
The nostalgia for Nightmare is so strong! I've got the base and 2 expansions, and honestly, I can tell you I'll never let them go
Omg yes!! We called it Atmosfear when I was young, I remember I loved it and my sister never wanted to play with me! ..oh nothings changed there :P
just bough Mansion of madness + all expansions 😂
Nightmare Horror Adventures: Welcome to Crafton Mansion ❤

Great list! I always appreciate the clever “hidden” chapter titles.
Love the black nail polish.

10% of my enjoyment is the games. 5% is Jenna. 5% is dogs. And 80% is the chapter titles.
Agreed.
> There should be more ghost spooky games
Ghost Stories! Co-op, soloable, tough as nails, and it's literally about ghosts

We play The Night Cage ,Disney Haunted Mansion, Massive Darkness Hellscape, Chupacabra, and Run Fight or Die.

Spoopy list! I especially like “Town of Terror”. Also, I feel like your hair and makeup are extra super duper nice today :)
Some great choices. Salem and Campy Creatures are two of my spooky time faves.
Haven't played any of these games before. Can't wait to try these out, especially Mansions of Madness!
Great list. I am surprised that Betrayal at House on the Hill or any of it variants (Scooby Doo) wasn’t on the list.

Great video as always!! ❤️
Oh Man! Nightmare! I got rid of my copy about 15 years ago. Kind of regret it, lol. .. but alas.. it was just never getting tabled.

I do love betrayal but I think it's so underated!

Have you seen Septima? I think it looks awesome! ❤
I have!!! My copy should be arriving soon and I’ll definitely be featuring it on the channel! It is probably my most anticipated game of 2023! 😍🧙🏻♀️
