Hope to see you fix another disaster soon. Found your channel through this series and am really happy to follow you and have a look at your past and future content.
Glad you enjoyed it and I hope to have more of this type very soon!
Very interesting, I can't believe how quick you are to recognize what is needed where and how to fix it.
If I was that quick, my islands would never get into a mess. I fully admit, I only recently discovered
what ctrl Q was and how to use it, lol. I learned from another You Tuber, but I love these fixer uppers, I've learned so much
Thank you!
I loved this series so much, I'm very excited for the next one
are you still doing those episodes of fixing broken savegames? That was cool to watch. Thanks!
I have a small backlog lol... I have like NO time right now and barely can get these recorded once a day at the moment.
Very interesting and informative look forward to the next one
I know I'm late to the party, but I really enjoyed this series and would love to see more like this! :)
Sad to see this one end, but excited for the next one
I'm really excited for Anno 1800 newest Africa DLC ! i can't wait to see Taka there.. because i watch him many hours playing this fantastic game that just got better, so i know he play super cool i know he well do fine in there.. but i can't wait for watching that new series !!!
I really wish the production menu showed if your island was getting imports from other islands. And the ability to filter trade routes. I'm only trying to keep track of the new and old world's...I have no idea how you keep track when you have all the DLCs
Great series though!! I genuinely learned A LOT from watching this!
Land of Lions will let you select two islands independently in the production menu to compare their supply and demands. it'll make it much easier to keep track of what you're producing on one island to send to another.
@@TakaCZcams interesting! That will definitely be beneficial for sure! I'm beyond impressed with your ability to keep track and supply all 4 regions simultaneously
This was so cool. Many thanks again for doing this. I'll be sure to "beef up" Downton Abbey more, as they say lol. Love that term. So you're saying to move out the factories and agriculture to other islands? And bring in more power plants.
Yeah I would move factories and anything that adds vulgarity or pollution. Click on your attractiveness rating center top right and you can see what all is causing it.
@@TakaCZcams yeah. It just came to my mind that I could also import those goods from my other islands, but still remove the factories from Downton
In the beginning, you wondered how the Fur Shortage happened. I would guess, that with filling your houses with all goods, the consumption of Fur is rising, since more people live in the Artisan and Engineer houses. This due to the other goods now being provided, which raise the number of inhabitants per house and thus the consumption.
Consumption is calculated based on houses and independent of how many people live in a house
@@Terror1046 really, never knew, always thought it was based on population.
It's been known for a long time now that consumption is based on maximum population. A worker house with 15 of 20 people in it consumes the same amount of goods as a worker house with 20 of 20 in it. The difference comes if you go over using specialists or items. All of this is covered on the Wiki page for population or needs... One of those.
Great series. I like watching 'fix your city' vids for this and Cities Skylines. I'm tempted to ask you to look at my city to see what I could be doing better. It's not quite at investors though so maybe too early?
It's never too early if you feel like you might need some help!
@@TakaCZcams Thanks, maybe I will :) I don't think its too bad, but who knows? You might think it's a disaster. lol. I got to investors and am finally making money at least, but the idea of expanding investors and growing any bigger like the city in this video is a bit daunting.
If I was to do that, I'd put it in Discord?
One huge thing I would do is add silos to the pig farms. Especially on downtown Abby to help boost the attractiveness.
They have no DLC active in this playthrough
Challenge ideas :
- Try to get Zero farmer house on your game ( easy with Bright Harvest)
- try to get zero worker house (more challenging for a 18th century game ^^).
- etc etc...
-
Lol, drag animal farm fields? :D
Tbh anno without the skyscrapers isnt anno fkr me anymore
The curse of coffee always strikes unexpectedly. A world without Eli Bleakworth, not a good decision. In 2 days = 3 Chef Michel + 1Costume Designer= easy life
Yeah not having Eli is a real pain... Luckily Land of Lions will let us research items and specialists!
