- After a couple years of ownership, we both decided that Alexis needed an upgrade and the CRF230L had to go. We don't do a lot of dual sport riding so having a lighter weight, performance oriented machine made sense on the trails.

It looks like that bike will suit her nicely, even more so it being a big wheel. But like others have said, be careful cracking the throttle! Those little 150Râs will stand right up and have a lot of power.
(Crf150rb 23.5hp) is de restricted 125 2stroke power so very impressive dt / kmx / Ts 125's all 2 stroke
Chris Redfield I wouldnât call it de-restricted two stroke 125 power. My 02 CR125 makes almost twice that. I think you mean itâs close to 85cc two stroke power. Which is what itâs meant to hang with.

for the dual sport you can put street tires on the crf150rb as spares and for when you wanna ride the back rode's and train her into a super motto rider also to gain more seat time on all different terrain and turn her into a all around pro

certificate of origin is awesome, when you trade the CoO for a title you transfer part ownership to the state and enter a contract to buy tags, so if you arent planning on taking it on the road thats actually better. Still if you have a CoO you can legally travel but you will have to deal with constantly being pulled over lol. The land equivalent is an allodial title.

Mine pulls like a 2 strrooooke beast. My 230f and 250L canât touch the power of the mighty little 150R. No problems with starting. Lots of mild mods for trail riding. Sheâll need to stay out of the high revs till sheâs ready though. Itâll flat haul ass as small as she is. Need to meet up. DM me when you go to Wayne. Iâm in Dayton.
Daddy Dukeboy those 150RB bikes are super quick. Honda made them to race with the 85s and i must say they are as quick if not quicker than the 85s

it the 150rb doesnt already have a flywheel weight i would suggest getting one. im a pretty skilled rider but 4 stroke race bikes stall out very easy and you have to abuse the clutch. check out some if the 150rb videos i have a whole lot of comparison videos on it.

Got my wife on a kawi klx 140g with 21/18â wheels. Its like 220 wet and has been great so far! Just started this vid now. :)
Im sure the 150 will be perfect as well, but the smaller rims will deflect on rocks and roots more ive noticed rather than full sized wheels. no doubt waaay better than the 230.

What pays for the Roads and Highways in the Continental USA and always has and has NEVER changed, is the Tax issued on Gasoline and Diesel. When you buy Gas, YOU are paying for the Roads, that includes maintenance, salting, salaries of workers, Everything. What has changed is the Education Level or lack thereof of the typical "American". The people have been purposely dumbed down over a long period of time, myself included. We ALL have fell victim to this.

mike eger CR is two stroke, CRF is four stroke. The 150 is a lot lighter, higher compression, and is geared lower for the trail.

mike eger her old crf 230l put out 18.6hp and the crf 150rb puts out 21hp. That might not seem like a huge different but the bike is much lighter. So it makes a big difference.

Crf230L looks a lot like a xr125L. Motor looks the same air cooled unit with a oversized barrel

Not getting a dual sport is such a smart decision! Iâve been trying to decide on which dual sport I wanted but then realized if I got a bike capable of traveling on the interstate or state route for an hour and a half or longer to get to the trails, the bike would be too big and heavy for the trails.. So no dual sport. But I canât make heads or tails as to which bike ( Honda) to get! 250 what? Help!

Iâm applying that rational to my situation. I realize that dual sports can be perfect choices for many many riders.
The 250L can be geared down to where is itâs great on the trail and the road. I changed my rear sprocket to a 42T and 65mph is comfortable on the highway but itâs still good on the trail. If you change sprockets to 13/42T it lowers it down to about 55mph but it feels like a proper dirt bike.
@@shammons556 now you've over here saying the 250L is great for the trail, and you were on the other comment saying the 150R is much better for the trail than the 230L. Sounds like the 250L needs to go for a 250R or 450R by your logic...and and old one at that...maybe one that's not electric start, is unicam, runs hot, etc.

Its not like she needs more than that XD, also they make a little more than 20 horsepower lol
Torque drops way off at 10,000 RPM's because the engine is pretty much maxed out. The torque is down lower in the powerband where the engine is climbing up to speed.
