      He is an out of work used car salesman. He has aspirations to be the TV voice of the used car lot.

    How come Calibreyachtsales doesn't have a Playlist soley dedicated to Richard Evans and his reviews of vessels whether they have sold or not.
    If they have sold, who cares?
    With Richard doing the narration and tour of the vessel, I would still watch the video and may even be tempted to talk the current owner into selling it!

      There is no walk-around on the main deck. That's a shame, given the beam it would not be an imposition on the accommodation. Also having what appears to be a Portuguese bridge ahead of the wheelhouse makes no sense with the extremely high bow. The boat is simply a "Mr. Potato Head" of design elements, none of which work with one another.
      And as usual with these ads more effort is devoted to babbling about joinery and none about the machinery spaces or other technical details which support the furniture.
      And yes, I've been boating since the early 60's, and owned and piloted more than a few.....

    Love the mill work and joinery. However, I can't help but ask. With the staterooms being as small as they are, how is it possible that, on a 72' boat, there isn't enough room for a third stateroom? Seems to me there's a great deal of wasted space somewhere on that boat.

  • @PatrickFagan-if2um
    @PatrickFagan-if2um Před 7 měsíci +2

    Apparently this yacht is powered by twin Cummins 450 Diamond Series diesels and at moderate RPM would have a range of 1500 NM give or take. The naval inspired design of the pilot house (note the raked forward windows) affords an unobstructed 360 degree view and the auxiliary wing stations (a very expensive and welcome touch) would make docking a breeze. As for the hull, it doesn’t get any better from a strength to weight ratio than 1/4 inch marine grade aluminum; try pricing that out at existing rates. Yes, the painstakingly crafted cherrywood interior is definitely old school but THAT is a matter of personal preference and taste; it may not be fashionable but there will always be a market (however narrow) for class and style. I expect most of the troll-like comments herein are authored by persons with absolutely no prospect of ever owning a vessel of consequence like this; the sour grapes are palpable indeed.

    Very, very odd listing. On the one hand... It's a beautiful vessel. I love all the fantastic wood and green leather. (A boat that looks nautical rather than like a modern Italian condo.) And a solid, 1/4' thick aluminum hull! It could hit an iceberg and win! On the other hand... A boat of that size with only 2 cabins, no fly bridge and nowhere to stow the tender on deck? And why do you offer no info on performance and not even a peak at the engine room?

I've seen boats this size pack four en-suite staterooms and crew quarters for 2-4 on the lower deck. I somehow can't believe that this boat uses the 60+ feet of unseen length it has below the main deck solely for propulsion.
