This is probably a fake, as he using only one cell, which is limited in voltage.. it could maximum generated about 1.5 Volts with Aluminium and copper... He has probably hidden a different 12 Volts battery inside the charcoal..
The voltage of one cell is only mainly dependant from the 2 dissimular metals and only barely by the electrolyte...you could only boost the voltage with a good electrolyte maybe 0.5 Volts but not much more... so he could never achive 12 VOLTS with this setup...
So this his must be a fake...
