- Our 2nd to last day in Bengaluru and we were told we must not miss out on VV Pura, the infamous street food street!! However it was under construction which meant only a few vendors were available, we think we did quite well with the food we managed to try, the best thing of all about VV Puram is that it is ALL vegetarian!

Hi guys just a correction- what you ate in the video is Dabeli and not Pavbhai. Dabeli is from the state of Gujrat, it has a different filling than pavbhaji. The couple who told you the name got confused and said it's Pavbhaji. Whereas Pavbhaji is the one being made on the griddle corners and it is from Mumbai. You guys have tried these both in Southern India where it's not very famous. Both the dishes have very unique flavours, now that you're in India you should definitely checkout Pavbhajii when you visit Mumbai
But Mumbai is Stinky City I had been to there not so comfortable to eat sorrounded by smell of stinks
Its Dabeli and not pav bhaji, try the pav bhaji, its nice aswell

Puran poli, ukdiche modak, pithla bhakar, shira,upma, kothimbir vadi,Aamras,basundi,solkadi, bombil fry, kolhapuri chicken, nagpur's tarri poha,kaju katli and many more... Tujhe pata nahi isliye tu bs pav pav keh raha.

Local state flavours would have been ecstatic for sure like benne dose, mysur pak, girmit masala etc

You missed out trying South Indian delicacies on the VV Puram Food Street. You ended up eating Mumbai famous Pav Bhaaji, Chinese Momo's, Roomali roti and then North Indian Kulfi. At last I was happy to see you guys having Dosa in Hotel Iris, thankfully. Thanks for covering the Food street in Bengaluru, particularly when it was in a makeshift place due to construction work. Truly appreciate it.
Momos are not Chinese,,, Chinese do have dumplings similar to momos so does many other countries
Please do visit the Malleswaram, its the older part of the city and very green and beautiful and more sreet shopping in Sampige road Mantri Mall and towards 18th cross, street/local shopping). Do visit CTR (7th cross) for their famous Dosas and also the very calm and picturesque Railway station!
Its one of the greener parts of the city and has a good amount of temples and local food along with being close to 2 malls (Orion mall and Mantri mall) which have metro connectivity! I am glad you are enjoying Bangalore!

11:00 was Dabeli. Paubhaji is salty always and Dabeli always sweet. ❤ from Southall London. 17min culfi you find everywhere in India.
And Pav Bhaji in generally served separate. The "bhaji" (vegetable mixture) itself is different in composition with difference in condiments as well.
Hello both, your videos are so lovely and relaxing to watch. One thing I would advise you both on doing is the use of Dhanyavad in parts of South India might offend few people also most won't understand as they don't speak Hindi. Otherwise you guys are really good 👍 looking forward for more Indian vlogs.

I also stay at Iris every year and eat at VV Purim! You missed both the masala dosa, which was made by the peanut sandwich guys, and the gobi manchurian, a bangalore specialty. Bangalore is famous for having lots of chinese food….enjoyed your video, wish you wouldnt have shared the Iris…some things mist be kept secret….❤❤❤
