I have been riding since the 1970s and watching this review took me back to when I was your age and my first bike and how much I loved it. i am still riding all these years later great to see the joy you have for that excellent 250 (wish I had something that good to start on)
Only advice I can give is always wear your protective gear

Damn I paid $400 for the year I’m picking my 2013 cbr 250r up on the 22nd wish mine was only around $100 lol but can’t wait too ride it and great review man Best I seen!

Nice work I wonder what you're riding now? I'm 57 & after many bikes from 100cc trail bikes to 1100cc/300kg full dress tourer, I'm done with heavy bikes & going fast so I've just bought one of these for the sheer, simple pleasure of riding. These bikes aren't only for beginners...

Had a CBR 125 myself a couple years back
Air filter keeps debre from entering the engine and causing scratches in the piston shafts which result in performance loss and engine wear.

Do you still have the Tracker? That bike goes with it. You do your homework when you buy anything don't you? Be safe, and always be prepared to stop quick when people pull out in front of you. Love than mpg number.

Jeff if I were you I’d look for like a fz6r or something like that. They’re tall bikes with a little more power than a 250 but you’re not gonna hurt yourself

Thick Doobie I'm 6'4" and I ride one. The only thing I'd change is maybe lifting the shifter a bit and moving the back brake

I think your height needs the 500. It'll be enough to start and then have some more power on the long run. I maxed out my 250 within a couple of weeks and I desired more power but I did have it for 2 year until I upgraded to a 2014 CBR 650f

WHO THE HELL U HAVE FOR INSURANCE? i pay 68 a month for my cbr250
Progressive auto insurance. My total comes out to like $142 a year, so it comes out under $12 a month and that's full coverage! I'm also 28 years young, so maybe my city or state I reside in makes that difference, I even have a small car accident, so once it goes off I'll pay even less. But then again I'll probably have a different bike by next year

Honda and Yamaha seem to be competition to see who can make the most silly looking motorcycles. Those silly things in the back have gotten worse.
