I have good quality chain grinder. My chain is extremely sharp but my saw cutting crooked. I have a Stihl 391. You have been able to answer questions in the past. I have filed the bar it stands on a flat surface. Could my raker depth cause this. It's a fairly new chain. But it's been sharpened about 10x thanks
You teeth can be different length make sure you check all rakers with a raker gauge. The raker gauge will set the cutting depth on all teeth even if the size is smaller or varies a few mm. Also if chain is sloppy in the guide rail can also cause the saw to cut crooked. I have a bar gap closer. On a 3/8 chain the gap from the raker to the highest point on the tooth is .65mm if you don't have a raker gauge can use a straight edge and a feeler gauge to check the gap.
Great video,,, really helpful to learn a lot,,, thanks Spanner man
stay sharp and on the ball 😀

Get rid of the pink stone and get a CBN Wheel.
CBN 145mm cost $500 in Australia so expensive I can not justify that for home user.
@Maciej Jan Długosz I have had brown resin bonded wheel on one grinder for 12 years now. I have 9 grinders. I collect them lol
