I always liked Luttwak, and still do but more.
This war is like other wars, the war in Yemen, the war in Iran, the war in Palestine, Syria, the losers of the war are known, but the winners of the war are unknown.

Wonderful interview. I was particularly interested to hear about the meaning of "Russian Horde" and how that changes the war.
Traditional fashion of Russian military tactics. Press gang as many bodies as you can, point in the direction you want them to go, with what ever they have in the way of weaponry, guns, pitchforks, swords and the like and give them a pep talk. The number one battle plan is rape, pillage and plunder while you murder as many as you can. Tried and true.

These two “experts” have no idea what they are talking about. Don’t believe me, but, compare this to reality on the ground that will manifest itself in near future. Trying to encourage civilians to fight will increase civilian deaths. Also, do these experts know how many people were killed by the Ukrainian government thugs in Donbas? How many people were tortured with constant shelling, cutting off of basic services, starvation, etc. over the last 8 years? The entire people are NOT united; Donbas region armies are fighting against the Ukrainian forces, including, the Azov Battalion. The obese expert, is a professional TV watcher, in my opinion.
