I have the same Ashley doll.. I purchased her approximately 15 years ago and other than the quality of her hair I still think she’s beautiful. I have kept her boxed up and only visit with her about once a year.

Hello Liz! Really enjoy your channel and appreciate your expertise. I heard you mention that you condition the doll's hair. I have a reborn Noah doll with rooted hair. I find the texture of the hair (I think it's mohair) does not look real. Also the coloring of the hair was supposed to be darker, instead it looks almost a dark grey. Can you please advise what I can do to condition the hair and maybe darken the color? I don't know if this is possible, but I would really appreciate your advise. Many thanks! Margaret
I have the Ashton Drake monkey's and i am fine with them . I will be doing some changes to them later . My problem with the company is that the pictures do not always match with doll once you receive the doll . Yes the price is nice but what i see what they are advertising in the picture changes when you lift that lid . I bought my daughter Jasmine and Emily . Jasmine was a very nice doll but Emily was not like what we saw in the picture and how they portrayed her . Her price was okay but the look of her i almost sent her back but my daughter wanted to keep her so i caved in . Now if that was my doll for sure i would have shipped her back . Some day i would like to get my own Jasmine doll . But some of their dolls are great for the collector that does not want to spend a whole lot and yet gets a descent doll .
Emily is one that I sent right back! She didn’t look like the pictures. Jasmine doesn’t either really, but with her, I thought she was cute, even though she wasn’t exactly like the photo. I think a lot of people have this same experience. There are two small baby monkeys that I am thinking of getting, but I’m afraid they won’t look as cute as the photos. I’m trying to see if there are some being resold so I can see actual photos to decide. That’s pretty bad when you have to be Sherlock Holmes before you can make a purchase! Lol!
@@allthingsfairy There was a monkey doll from Aston Drake recently i thought of buying directly from them . What i did Liz i went onto ebay and found one that a private person was selling . There you see the doll out of the box and in real light and surroundings . When you do this it will do either two things in making that decision for you , one you want to buy it or you walk and are glad you took the extra step of looking a little further into your next purchase . Just a suggestion !!

This doll would make a completely adorable baby boy! I made the review so people could make an informed decision, and I don’t regret buying her, I’d buy her again! I believe I get the 0-3 months size for her, I will double check if I’m wrong, I’ll comment again. I do hope you get your baby boy, you will love him!

I put preemie clothes on my Ashley..my daughter gave me lots of preemie clothes that were my granddaughters..she’s 17 now! She is not the size of a baby weighing more then 5 pounds and she’s probably 16 inches give or take.

I was just wondering do you no the best way to clean the body on a doll similar to the ones you showing the one I have is a NPK collectible doll she has rooted hair not glued on her arms and legs are jointed the body is dirty the arms and face came out clean I just don't know how to clean the body do you have any suggestions I got it today at a Goodwill Outlet she was like 50 Cent I couldn't leave her there she's a really pretty doll just really dirty
