i forgot to tell you just from my experience the first one i got i used baby powder and before too long she cracked behind both knees and the crease in elbow (they did trade her out for me but i had to fight and was told they weren't meant to be played with and they wouldn't replace another one) so another lady on here told me never use baby powder on them as she used to work for ashton drake and its something in there silicone they use that the powder breaks down and to use cornstarch and after 4 years they are both still fine

Lucky you! What an amazing price! I have just ordered a Little Livie but it was a toss up between her and Lily Rose. The videos of Little Livie showed how amazingly her hair was hand rooted so I chose her. I will no doubt get a Lily Rose now I've seen your video!
i think it is a hit and miss with ashton drake dolls alot of the time. if you like lily rose so much as i did i ended up getting another and making it a boy and she is actually a cuter boy than girl i think

Ashton Drake silicone dolls are a wonderful option-I have Little Livvie.
She s pretty. I had her but sent her back because her arms and hands are not the same size. Also my LR had peel off eyebrows and one was half off when she arrived. I took them off and she lok better without. AD has a good return policy.

I collect all types other then Reborns and I love this dolls face and size, fun to dress. And I also love this type of outfit. I am picky about the clothes lol So I may order her after all. Did you use regular baby powder or a special matte silicone powder -if I May ask ?
On AD dolls you need to use corn starch. Baby powder breaks down the silicone AD uses & will make the doll crack eventually. So use corn starch :)
Thanks for this as I was unsure after seeing the Bradford exchange videos, so seeing up close helped me to decide yes! You should get commision as in Australia we pay considerably more?

Mine looks more pale , like a yellowish beige all over with matte pale lips and her eye color looks darker..also looks like the iris of the eyes is too small for her …her hair is very dry synthetic mohair as well…not the natural one yours seems to have…eyelashes were looking more cheap as well..they were all the same length, not realistic at all. I wonder why they made two different versions like that
Did you get yours from the actual Ashton Drake site? There are fake AD out there. AD does not sell on any site but theirs they said. If you got yours a couple years ago it’s possible they could have improved her. I know AD said in a video that they improved many of their babies. I’m not sure when they changed them though.
@@jadenr.j it’s a genuine Ashton drake but yes I think they did change her as the first ones had natural mohair and the later ones have the synthetic kind…same for the eyes..first ones had lovely lighter eyes

She is spectacular! However since this was a year ago, I hope you learned that you are way too rough. Most people cover their hands and feet when changing them. I wonder if you have torn her? I hope not. Your clothes are very beautiful.
I have her also, not impressed. I need to send every one of my Ashton Drake silicones back because they have all split behind the knees and Lillie Rose is split at the front of the ankle. I may try to make her a cuddle baby. I love her face.
If you used baby powder on them that is why. Baby powder breaks down the type of silicone they use over time. Only use a small amount of corn starch on AD silicone babies.
So confusing. I have baby powder made of just corn starch and fragrance no vitamin e or whatever. Is that ok or what part of the baby powder is bad

She is the prettiest Lily Rose I have seen. I have Ava which is newborn size but nice to dress and hold. I have the little fairy doll by Ashton Drake too. Though they are so fancy I don't hold them much. Just part of my doll museum🤗 I prefer to hold my preemie sylicone dolls by Cosdoll❣️
I'm trying to work out if they have improved her as yours looks a lot better than others I've seen in unboxings. Very impressive!
its the opposite, 1st editions were much better made with natural mohair, whispy lashes, lighter eyes and more painting on the face... 2nd edition has a rough cheap looking synthetic mohair, spider looking lashes and matte pale lips with barely any blushing on the face with very dark blue eyes...not too pretty... just like you see in mosy other videos. That is why she did not love the photos and videos of her(2nd edition lily) but loved hers(1st edition)

AShton Drake needs a blonde blue eyes silicone 6 month old boy for their collection and more taller real life dolls as well.
