    This is legitimately your masterpiece. Everything else you do is great too, but in my opinion this puts you up there with the compositional greats of history in its entirety. I watched an informal college recital and a percussion student played this piece. I was stunned. Every bit of technicality is balanced out by well thought-out and beautiful lyricism. It gets better every time you listen to it.

    I said to my percussion director " i want to play Etude in E Minor" and his almost immediate response was "no" lol. Ima gonna learn it and surprise him.

    Search "Rattle and Hum Casey" and I think you'll find a recording of someone playing this solo of his for I&E. If you even still care after 4 months, lol.
