I’m a licensed esthetician and certified in lashes (I worked in a salon part time for a couple years) but I work full time at a hospital. I want to do lashes from home but do I NEED to have my room licensed as a salon? I have a permit from my municipality/zoning area as a home occupation and I plan on getting a LLC because I do other art and crafts so it just makes sense to put lashing under the LLC

Whew chile ain’t this the truth🥴lashing is not easy when you first start. You gotta keep practicing. I’m doing a lot better than when I first started but I’m still trying to get my time down.

Keep going hun with practice you will get your time down. It used to take me 3 hours now Im down to 80 mins for an extra full set!

Hey! I’m not against it, I think the student just needs to make sure they get practice on a live model. Although it’s not the same as in person training because they can be right there to teach the technique and correct things

how long did it take you when you first started to finish a set? Im just starting to work on people and its taking me 6-8 hours to complete a set!
I used to stop after 2hr 30 mins, the sets wouldn’t be full but I didn’t want my clients laying any longer and I just tried to make it fuller within that timeframe as I got better
These were my model clients by the way, by the time I took paying clients it didn’t take me this long and the sets were fullerp

I took several classes, one in New York and a few in jersey but I never took an line lash class so I can’t speak to that too much but I personally liked doing in person courses and learning hands on
