There is a option in this version where you can make the game faster or have assigned a button to make Pac-Man dash, makes the game better for sure.
Used to enjoy playing this on my Amiga 500.

It's a siometric view of pacman with a 3D feel to it,wich was even released on the nes among other 8bit systems.

If you want to hear better music may I suggest the Amiga version, which comes with the commercial emulator Amiga Forever.

RetroMassacre 360 Gill Pac Man world is a great game. I played the hell out of it when it came out. Very good game. I sometimes listen to the soundtrack too, but as far as the Ghostly Adventures, I wouldn't know
Ghostly Adventures is a surprisingly good game. The sequel though, while good, is a bit disappointing (it took away the camera controls)

there was a 'remaster' on gameboy advance. it wac on pacman collection along with pacman arrangment.
He's in Street Fighter X Tekken also, if that's your thing.
I remember the 13 year old me finding this in the arcades and being blown away. This Genesis version looks much worse than the Amiga version which was near perfect. I expected the Genesis to be similar if not better.

I like the music in the first two levels. After that it's kinda downhill.

To be fair about Pac-Mania, Namco made the arcade version first, and Tengen/Atari ported it to the Genesis. The only thing Sega had to do with this game is allow the game to be ported to their console.

IMO NES Pac-mania looked and felt right. Arcade and Genesis seem way off and/or bad. I'd still play NES Pac-mania today.

Fond memories of this game, one of the first games I've ever played. Was pretty good on the Acorn Archimedes, Sega version is a very good port as well.

The Genesis version of Ms.Pacman has Pac-man as a 2nd player (in it's co-op mode ) and there's a port included in PacMan 2's arcade. (has Pac Jr as a unlockable game)

I like the original arcade version of Pac-Mania. This version sucks.
The lack of the original Arcade music & sound effects reminds me of the Turbo Outrun port

play on crazy with turbo booster, and do the level select (ABACABABACAB) and choose 19. Now what?

If you don't like the music, play the NES version, it's much better (likely because Nintendo is better then SEGA in literally every way)

I never liked PacMania tbh. It always felt weird to me.
I actually have the luxury of being able to play this on a cabinet all the time and the genesis port feels gross and nasty to me.
