  • As I said in the video, this a genuinely one of the best museums I’ve been to. The people here are so nice and will answer any question you may have. Much more to come. Thanks. SUBSCRIBE 🫡

i was here the weekend before my birthday visiting my uncle and my friend told me Polson 2 was undergoing her 1472 so it was a nice birthday present to see her running and hear her gorgeous whistle

700 is a "Northern" type steam locomotive because the Northern Pacific was the first railroad to use the basis for their passenger trains. 700 herself was never built or intended to work for the northern pacific. But its basis was originally built for Northern Pacific, thats why she's technically a "Northern" steam locomotive. And 4449 is also a "Northern" by the way...

I love the 4449. She's my most favorite. I'm very lucky to see her in 2009 for the year's Train Festival at Owosso, Michigan. It was a great experience for me.

I’m sure it was! I was actually born in 2009 so I haven’t been a Railfan for long but hope to see her and #700 on the rails soon!

@@nwrproductions4014 Me too. If they're equipped with PTC, they would definitely hit the main line on the excursion.
Also, my grandparents, two uncles and my dad did saw 4449 and the American Freedom Train in February 1976 while living at San Antonio, Texas. You could say it's a connection with the Daylight.

I don’t think it’s bad all the time. However, I do think I could’ve slowed it down a little bit
