you have to be turning 18 for MAG starting this 2013-2016 quad. 2013 was a transitional year where they allowed 17 year olds (just as prev quad) so each federation has time to adjust. Kenai was 16 in this comp but was turning 17 later in the year thus making his "competition age" 17

Bart, you have to be 16 for both WAG and MAG. Look at Kenzo Shirai. He is 17 and is a world champ.
