Cutting Up the RZR Turbo!! Bobbed & Boat-Tailed Instead of a "Bed Delete" ++ 2 minutes of Coos Bay!

  • Being paralyzed, it was really hard to reach the air filter and spark plugs. I decided to do my "how to" version of a "bed delete" on it. It has provided MUCH better access to the air filter, injectors, spark plugs, etc.

I like what you did there, and it looks pretty good. I think my favorite part is the use of the factory lights flipped sides and the easy access of removable flooring. 👍🏼

Thank you!! It really did make it much easier for me! I just always have to remember that I don't have a "tailgate". 😆

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I was going to buy different taillights, but the factory ones just fit too good in that location.

My guy!!! I am also paralized and looking to a bed delete for the same reason. I installed the AA stage 3 lock and load this summer with my dad and MAN, WHAT A CHORE FROM THE CHAIR!! I just ordered the water cooled turbo and stage 4 so figured while the beds off ill do a bed delete. Awesome vid!!

Hey man, good to hear from another para! The stock bed is terrible for us folks, haha. Working on these things isn't easy, but it's better a lot of cars I work on. I recently did the Dynojet (same as AA water cooled turbo) turbo upgrade. It makes quite the difference! What hand controls do you use?

@@PapaWheeliesWorld good to meet yuh. I used to drag race a custom 300hp snowmobile powered atv...but broke my hip and isnt possible anymore. That ran 3.3 seconds at 90mph...so trying to get a SIMILAR rush...but its not even CLOSE to the same lol. I use the 300$ controls i got almost 20 yrs ago. They clamp to the pedals...each comed up near my waidt and connect...pull for gas pysh for break. Im going to mount my launch control button on the handle so i can have a hand on the wheel and hand on launch. Pretty excited. Should have it in a week or two. I think im gonna bite the bullet and pay my buddy who has an atv shop to do it.

@@BSConservativeGOAT That snowmobile sounds crazy!! That should work well for your launch control to be on the hand control. You might look into the Hess Motorsports 2:1 steering reducer. I love mine for one handed driving!!! 1/2 to 3/4 turn lock to lock!

Started watching because of the catchy title...immediately thought wtf is this guy doing, but I'll be honest it doesn't look bad for what I assume was relatively low cost overall. Plus it helps with your mobility needs so I'd say it's a job well done. The factory taillight locations you chose do look really good so nice idea there. As long as you're happy with it and it's functional for your needs, then it's a win.
