Thanks for the video. I just received my w/c AA turbo last week and can’t wait to finally get some time to install it. So far I have all of the other Aftermarket Assassins bolt on upgrades and I’m extremely happy with them and the customer service Mike provides. Why did you go with DJ charge/intake tubes vs AA on your new build? Also, do you know of a good video on installing the ARP head studs? It’s definitely something I want to do. On another note, I just noticed that my notifications for your videos had been turned off and I didn’t do it. This might be a issue your other subs are not aware of.

i work close with DJ/Trinity and they wanted to help out on the new build. Nothing toward A&A, just gotta keep the everyone happy of course.
I can walk you though the head stud install pretty easy. Email us and ill get you some instructions.
Thanks for the heads up on the notifications. I will make a post about it shortly.
Next time i do head studs ill do a details video on it, as i have had a lot of request for it.
      Thanks!

Can you send me some picture of how the coolant lines are hooked up?

  • @earache294

i Must say this is NOT a Bolt on kit.... I'm a mechanic and am installing one of these so called " bolt on " turbo kits.. 1rst issue was the center section of turbo clock position was OFF. the oil return line was snug up against oil filter top... then 2nd is the support bracket for the turbo.. the small allen button head supplied does NOT mate up with the hole in the bracket once the correct clock position is achieved. had to elongate the hole AND trim corner of the bracket as the clamping bolt for clock position blocks it from mating to that hole.. 3rd! once u clearanced the bracket to fit, you find u cannot install that button head without removing the coolant line banjo fitting.. 4th!! once u install button and go to re-install the coolant line top banjo, you cannot fit a wrench or socket to tighten it. so a round clearance cut MUST be made on the bracket to properly tighten it once installed.--- today is saturday, the above occurred yesterday at work lol I will return here after completing this so called bolt on kit and let ya know what else had to be modified rather than bolted on... FYI the help desk at aftermarket assassins told me the return line was Bent ( stock is dead straight and mine is lol ) and that is why it was on top of the oil filter.. their help line seems brainless and in need of help themselves....

Yea, we no longer offer these kits after we had some issues ourselves. Sorry you had trouble and they couldn’t get it resolved.

Got 2 questions. Did the new studs require 2 stage torque and if so did you do the 1st stage on all then go back and do the 2nd stage to all or just one stage and that's it? Next question is did you run an aftermarket chain tensioner with this or is it still stock?

2 stage TRQ per ARP instructions. D&M Cam Chain Tensioner

I have went through AA for all of my upgrades and this is the next one. I've been speaking with them and have decided on the wc turbo level 3 tune but them didn't say anything about head studs. What's the limits of the factory studs?

@@jasonsoutdoorsports8632 I spoke with AA about how there messages were a little conflicting between the pro xp and xp turbo tunes verse head studs. It's was Pro xp head studs level 4 and up but xp turbo was level 5 and up. Why? Same motor....and now the site shows they recommend studs at level 4 and above for both because your so close to the limits of what factory can hold. I will say this...AA's parts and customer service is hands down the best in the business and I'm more than happy with my setup.

How dose this compare to a stock turbo RZR on AA stage 6 E85 setup?

    • @SneekyTuned
      @SneekyTuned  Před 3 lety +1

nickaldrich22 we had a regular turbo e85 stage 6 before, and it was a blast. The Turbo S has some decent weight on a regular turbo, and this car has seats, harnesses, dual battery’s, huge stereo exc. and it reminds us of our old E85 Turbo Car!
Clutch this car with a performance helix and it even more of a monster. But this this a dune car and customer has 4 people usually, so it’s clutched with a high load helix and setup for great bottom end and mid range performance for dunes.
Either way, if you want e85 power, on pump gas, this is the ticket!

SneekyTuned thanks, I have a AA E85 setup right now, I think I’m going to do this turbo and the injectors and let it eat on corn

nickaldrich22 we are doing the same setup on our personal Turbo S right now also. Don’t forget you will need the upgraded fuel pump and head studs as well.
If we can help with any of the parts or anything please let us know!
