Kirby Smart, who in my opinion has set himself apart from most of the others because he never tried to be Saban 2.0 but Kirby 1.0. Learning from a legend, but not compromising on who you are and as we have all seen he is pretty special.

As a die hard UGA fan, I love Saban. Saban is the epitome of a leader, a professional, a coach, and a man. For some reason I thought Saban didn’t like Kirby, but after seeing this video and hearing from Bama fans, I see now that Saban and Kirby have a teacher and student relationship and Saban don’t feel threatened because he knows Kirby really appreciated Saban’s mentoring and he will always pay homage to Saban. Saban extended his legacy with Kirby.
As a Georgia fan I am able to sleep peacefully at night knowing Kirby and Georgia beat a Saban coached Alabama in Saban’s last National Championship game

I’m a Bama alum, Bama fan, Saban fan. That said, there’s a pretty glaring conflict with Saban working and analyzing for ESPN while simultaneously still being employed by The University of Alabama. I believe he needs to resign from UA and focus on this full time if that’s what he wants to do. Both doesn’t work.
