Hi a way to cut carbs and still keep it as a roll, use a cabbage leaf and roll it just like a stuffed cabbage. This is wonderful.
Yes, I've done that. Delicious!
Oh yum! I LOVE asian egg rolls! Never knew they were so easy. I'll try it for sure. đđ
Very easy! Enjoy!

Just want to say I start my day with your show and love it I get so many good ideas I don't have a ninja foodie but I have an instant pot and an air fryer and they both get a workout

They both look tasty!! Another awesome video!!
Thank you so much!

I love your recipes. But you make me soooo hungry đ LOL.

Your making me very hungry by watching all your videos. Lol. Another saved video. Thank you. ( Donna)
I can't wait to make these again!
Hey Louise, last week I got on a kick wanting some egg rolls and general tso chicken. I made your general tso chicken and it was amazing!! I had used store bought egg rolls before but now will be making my own like you did!! Thanks so much!!
Wonderful!
Hi Louise. I looked for your general tso chicken recipe but couldn't find it. Only the cauliflower? Could you point me to that recipe? Thank you.
I love egg rolls and I love Reubens, so I would love to eat both of those. lol The Reuben would have been gone by the time the Asian egg roll was done cooled enough to eat, and then I would have ate that too. Looks real delicious!
What a great recipe, I am going to try it for sure. I really enjoyed your video, great camera work and I wasn't distracted by bad edits. Not saying I don't understand or appreciate the reason people feel the need to edit, but I actually prefer the raw real. In your videos, the edit is so good I don't even notice it!
Thank you so much! I have the best camera man, producer, video editor for sure! I will pass your compliment along to my wonderful and talented husband, he's the magician! đ
Your expression makes it fun to watch to the end.
LOL! I am always amazed that the food turns out so well! LOL
The recipe is awesome thanks! If I wanted to af 4 at a time instead of two how long and what temp would I cook them for? Thanks again I love my Foodi and even more so since Iâve found your channel!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your support a lot! As long as they fit on the rack or in the basket in a single layer, you don't need to make any changes in temps or times. If they touch each other, just move them around more frequently and because you are opening the lid more often, you might need to go a minute or two longer.
I love watching you!!
Thanks so much!
YUMMY! This looks delicious! I'm going to try the Pampered Chef Chicken Enchilada Wreath recipe but in an egg roll instead. I think it's going to be UH-MAZING! Another great video...thank you! :-D
That sounds great!
I always use 2 egg roll wrappers, less chance of splitting and that extra crunch
Eggrolls are not easy to roll but you make it look so easy! I cannot do it at all
I bet you can! Just follow along and don't overfill them.
Good job , thanks
Thanks!
I just bought my foodi. Having unbox it yet. Watching video on foodi to learn how to use it.
love these, ty if i want to freeze - should i freeze prepared but not cooked, or cook first. im liking the idea of freezing before i cook. what do you think? ty
I just found your channel and am loving everything I've seen so far! I recently bought a wall oven with an air fryer in it and have been searching for recipes. Would your air fryer recipe times and temps work in an oven air fryer? I can't wait to start making your recipes!
Delish!!!
Yes, they are!
I'm starving now for egg rolls. Just got my foodie and a so impressed. So exited that I found you. A friend shared this with me and so happy. Now off for the egg roll wrappers.
Congratulations on your Foodi! I can't wait to hear how you like the egg rolls! Enjoy!
Try peanut oil. If you don't have an allergy. I love making up different egg roll mixtures! Those look good.
Nice to write the recipe
Reuben egg roll is such a great idea! So good! Loved your unique recipes! Thx Louise!â€âș
Pedro Matos Thank you so much! I appreciate your support!
That look good
I love love love your videos for the Ninja Foodi. I watched your video on the Orange Beef and Brocolli. I really want to make this but my husband can not have oranges because of diabetes. Can you show us how to do a General Tso with chicken? Would love to see itâs done. Thank you so much for your great videos.
I love General Tso's, I'll try to develop a recipe soon.
Hurry!! Lol
@@TheSaltedPepper thank you....thank you....please hurry. LOL
It seems I forgot a couple of ingredients at the store lol Gna try with what I have on hand and see how it goes đ
Those egg rolls look fantastic! My 4.5yo son loves egg rolls. I wonder if I can use any other filling in there, like peas, broccoli, and ground beef.
He's going to pick those peas out, but perhaps he will eat a few if they are wrapped in crispy egg rolls!
You put whatever filling you want, they are so versatile!
Oh my gosh, I love egg rolls! Would you know how to guide me in making the BJâs restaurant avocado egg rolls? They are absolutely delicious, but I know very fattening from being fried! TIA! Love your videos, Iâve made many recipes, so good and easy!
I've never had them before, so I am not sure how to advise you. Sorry.
I might have to get some egg roll wrappers. Have you tried the spring roll wrappers? They are thinner. I might try both. Thanks
I haven't tried spring roll wrappers yet.
They look sooo delish! Have you ever made Gluten free rice paper rolls? I do have to get a ninja now!
I actually did make rice paper with the Foodi! The issue is, I can't get them off without a certain tool and I've had a hard time finding one.
How large were the rappers you used. The ones I get at the store looked a lot smaller then the ones you used. I think the ones at the store are only 3 to 3 1/2 inches square.
I have the ninja xl pro oven, what time and temp do you suggest to make home made egg rolls ( using store bought sheets ) in the pro oven ?
I would increase the temperature by 50-75 degrees and watch them for the timing. When they are crispy and golden brown, they are done. The timing is probably going to be similar to the timing in this recipe. Also, make sure to preheat the oven for a full 10 minutes before air crisping.
You are so incredibly GOOD and Oh so very talented
I LOVE egg rolls.
Oh baby.... I heard that wonderful Crunch when you bit in... Oh Oh Oh
Thank you đ
For sure I will make these! Just one question, if I want to freeze some eggrolls, which is best, freeze them uncooked, partly cooked or totally cooked? Especially if you want to warm them up with the Ninja?
You can freeze them cooked or uncooked and they will work fine. It's probably easier to cook them and then let them cook and freeze. That way you can reheat on a low temp or even steam (covered) and then quickly crisp the outside.
Thank you very much, good suggestion! Thank you again for the recipe!
Do you have a cook book with the recipes in it? If not you need to make one. Would be a lot easier than searching to remember where I saw you do that thing I wanted to try. Cause there are a lot I want to try. Lol
I don't as of right now, but all my recipes are on my website: thesaltedpepper.com
@@TheSaltedPepper thanks
About ready to make our egg rolls!
My husband's on a seach for large size eggrolls like the ones made at a chinese restaurant. This looks like the real deal!
What are the size of the wrappers?
I can't remember the size, but they are labeled egg roll wrappers and are usually in the refrigerated section (produce aisle usually) of the grocery store. I would estimate that they are 6" x 6".
Can hardly wait to try these. I also LOVE egg rolls. If I can make sushi (not in the Foodi of course LOL ) I surely can make these. Question; can I use rice paper instead of the egg wrappers?
I'm not sure how that would turn out because I haven't tried it, but please let me know if you try it!
Harder to make with the rice papers, but having no flour in them works better with me :) Just hold the paper under warm running water for a second or two, then lay on on flat surface for about 5 seconds before filling and rolling. Cook same way
Hello I have a question for you because Iâve been making eggrolls for a while and I deep fry them obviously and Iâm getting the ninja soon and I was wondering when I make my deep fried eggrolls now what I do is put like a sausage in it but I donât cook it because itâs going to be deep-fried and itâs going to be yeah Iâll cook that way I put in cabbage and carrots and beans sprouts that kind of thing anyway so in the ninja well that sausage still cook like it doesnât deep fat fryer just wondering and I thought Iâd ask you because you know a lot about it
Forgot to add, I add bean sprouts a few mins before egg roll filling is to be done and I add a touch of peanut butter to filling once filling is cooked: I mix it in for extra flavor: you can also add some deveined cooked shrimp pieces cut up and take tail off them while cooking filling to layer flavors,
I would have added bean sprouts if I could ever find fresh ones! Peanut butter is very interesting. I love peanut butter, so I'm going to have to try that.
Hi, any reason you can't use the air crisp pan?
Nope! You can use either one.
How many minutes do you Air Fry your Egg Rolls? How long do you Air Fry your Egg Rolls, Louise?
Here is the written recipe. I AF on 390° F. for about 13 minutes I think. They usually take between 10-15 minutes depending on how you like them. thesaltedpepper.com/homemade-egg-rolls-in-the-ninja-foodi/
mmmmm i would eat this
they are yummy!
Could you use sesame oil or would that be too strong?
How can I use the air fryer without using any oils?
You don't have to use oil, but certain things won't crisp up as much. With this recipe, try using an egg wash instead of oil.
Do you have the Vietnamese pork recipe for this yet?
I have finished the recipe and it should be out soon.
going to add shrimp or chicken or pork good job
Sounds great!
OMG......Mr Chan is going to be very disappointed, we will being ordering from him less often. RE: spice, we love spice but also limit "heat". The 2 are not the same.
Your eggrolls are better looking than deep fried!!!! I'll send pics of mine and my ragoon too......You're the best!
I hope you love them!
How about doing a Chicken Cordon Bleu type of thing using the egg roll sheets instead of bread crumbs?
That's an interesting idea!
Just a hint - put a dampened towel under your cutting board and it won't move around on you. :)
Yeah, I know! I forgot!
can this be done in an air fryer...?
Yes, absolutely. You just may need to adjust your temperature settings for the style of air fryer you have.
@@TheSaltedPepper thank you..
Just got a blackstone with air fryer..
Can not wait to try. Always wanted to make egg rolls, just never got the courage up.
You make it look easy.
I cheat and buy coleslaw and broccoli slaw. Not much space in my RV so it works for me.
That works too!
how can you make vegan egg rolls?
Could you please do some keto recipes in the Ninja Foodi.
I'm doing some 360 meals where you can leave the starch out.
Can u make lazymans chicken and rice in the foodi
Kohana P I am not familiar with that, do you have a recipe?
If you donât have a ninja foodi what could you use ?
This will work in any air fryer, you just might need to adjust the temperature and timing some.
What else would you add if you just wanted a vegetarian egg roll.
If you wanted an Asian style egg roll, I would use cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, finely chopped broccoli, and maybe even some red bell pepper. You can pretty much use what ever you like, just cut it up small. Shredded zucchini would be good too. You do want to saute the veggies first to release their liquid, so that doesn't happen inside the egg roll as they AC.
please where are the recipes
They links to each recipe are in the video description. You can also find them on my website: thesaltedpepper.com
Cuddle teddy bear
Where is the recipe !,,,?....
In the video description
Have you ever made a recipe and after tasting said...ehhhh..not so much? đ„Ž
YES! Tons of times, but I don't do videos on them. If the recipe has a chance, then I make adjustments until it's good enough to get an approval from me, my husband, and his coworkers. Then it goes into final testing and the video/written recipe is done. My reactions at the end of a video are exactly what I'm thinking though. I'm always amazed at how good food turns out, even if I've made 14 times before. You guys only see the best recipes. I've been working on fried chicken for a while now and until it gets a "WOW" or a "That is it" from me and others, it stays in testing. There are a few exceptions and one is the ham videos I did. I was not happy with one of them and said so. Happy Cooking!
You were at the 3.5 minute mark, then when you bumped up the heat to 400, it was 5.6 minutes. Why? You did not explain that.
It was just a period of time that was edited out to save time.
Pfftf! Watch your fingers! Fingers are so over rated!
LOL!
love these, ty if i want to freeze - should i freeze prepared but not cooked, or cook first. im liking the idea of freezing before i cook. what do you think? ty
