In my kitchen if I saw you do this I would make you eat the rest of that pineapple before kicking you out. I know that you probably just wanted to make a viral video and my hope is that at your age you know how to peal the Pineapple with a knife without wasting to much of it and if not I hope your boss doesn't see this becouse for every 3-4 pineapple pealed with this method you essentially waste 1. And for everybody who sea this the proper way is to cut the base to make it safe and secure. You put it on a table then with a sharp knife you cut the skin from the top to bottom. That's the method is tought in the culinary school and its the easiest and safest one without wasting so much of the pineapple.
Half of it is wasted just to make it pretty, just hand me the napkins spoon and knife bc im digging in & getting all my fruit!! 😂 Sorry but fruits are expensive enough where i am from and as much as i love it i can not see any go to waste whatever is uneaten can be refrigerated for another day or even frozen! 😊 Enjoy!!!!
First it didn’t look easy, you have to have the strength to push it down that pineapple. Second, you made the pineapple all mushy, it didn’t look good anymore. Third, you wasted a lot by doing it that way. Pineapple is not cheap. Not a good video to learn from.
That fruit takes almost a year to grow and you waste half of it.
