I’m practicing my “do not resent, do not react, keep inner stillness” every time that guy starts chomping on his chips. Glory to God for opportunities to struggle.😂

Also, Metropolitan Jonah is a national treasure, and we are blessed to have him. After I was wrongfully castigated by a certain subsection of clergy in a certain archdiocese, it was Metropolitan Jonah who took the time to help me gain some much needed perspective, and while I did leave the church for a short time, he was partly responsible for my subsequent return to the one true Church. May God grant him many many more years and THANK YOU for uploading these vital catechetical lectures. His traditional yet “middle way” approach is beyond necessary in an ever polarized world/church/reality.❤️☦️

Please excuse my question...I am unlearned.
21:34 Yeshua quotes Deuteronomy. Don't you think that in itself legitimizes the text? Thank you . Please forgive me

Can I could a more comprehensive explanation on what exactly Orthodoxy believe about heaven/hell salvation and what happens after death?

After death, your soul will be separated from your body, and you may need to make your way to God from there. Pray that He will send angels to collect you at that time. Also practice the Jesus prayer: _Lord Jesus, Christ, Son of God; have mercy on me, the sinner._ If that prayer makes its way into your heart, you can repeat it after death, and help is on the way. Of course, this is all contingent on the state of your soul; whether you've done what you can to clarify your conscience, and whether you truly want to be rescued from the part of you inclined toward evil 🙏

Does Orthodoxy say we are redeemed from the law or are we redeemed from the curse of the law. I only ask because the West seems to say we are delivered entirely from both blessing and cursing. Idk maybe I shouldn't focus on this? But it seems to be a difference between East and West

In the very beginning of the video, the young man with the questions is referring to Numbers 5:11-31 with the "potion".

@@Sainthermanofalaskastaffordva I was going to make the same comment about munching noises but was silenced by your welcoming, fun response. Learning so much from this video. Thank you!
