Just recently watched your orange dessert, now coffee... Gonna do both! 😂
I am surprised with this coffee sweet very delicious, thanks for the comment
I JUST CAME FROM THE ORANGE VIDEO LMAOOOO
@@paprikaeater saaamme

Same thing here lol!
I just finished watching the orange one
Ah yes, solid coffee
Yes, we have a similar dessert Muah Chee in Chinese also known as Mochi in Japanese. Ingredients differ, we can either stuff it or coat it as above. Instead of corn flour, we use glutinous rice flour or sweet rice flour as known in US. Coating or stuffing can be black or white sesame seed powder or peanut powder.
I do have a similar one in my country, Spain, it's called leche frita, just subtitute the coffee with milk, fry the cubes afterwards and toss them over cinnamon sugar 🥰
Mi madre y mi abuela lo hacían siempre 😋
It looks so good. This would be great dipped in chocolate to make a bon bon or truffle center. I put rum extract in my coffee when making Tiramisu. Adding vanilla or rum extract might make a yummy variation.
Sounds great! thanks for the idea
Don’t you do it with tia maria? Try it it’s amazing.
Great idea!!!
I was thinking just adding some cocoa powder with the sugar at the end!
Yes, we have in Kerala. Its called halwa
i would add nuts
and instead of dipping them in sugar at the end, i would use 50/50 powdered sugar and cornstarch
And or coconut, or unsweetened, powdered cocoa.
It has that caramel look, my mom used to make caramel coffee dessert specially in Ramadan month
Thanks for the comment
I tried making this and it came out pretty good it was so delicious!! 😊😊🤪🤪😋
Since I recently started cooking more than the regular things I’ve been cooking over and over for years, and while I’ve had the standard salt, pepper, garlic powder, I’ve been adding to my staples with each shopping trip. Yesterday I grabbed a jar of instant coffee figuring sooner or later some decadent recipe would call for it. Today this showed up in my notifications. Guess what I’m gonna do?
Have fun and enjoy I will post a few more with coffee soon for you
@@VARGASAVOURRECIPES
It looks tasty and I will definitely try this recipe.
Can we do that with 100% chocolate also ? Thank you! 🌺🌼
Return it?
Thank you for putting the amounts in two measures! 🙏 😋 Yummy!
My pleasure 😊
Acabo de prepararlo, me quedo un poco blando, pero fue delicioso ¡Especialmente con leche!
Where I live in Michigan, USA, we have a sweet called 'fudge" that can be made in any flavor you can think of. It gets very firm when chilled and is to eat with any sugar, chocolate or flavor topping. It is even put into ice cream. But now you have made me crave the coffee or mocha flavor! Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks for your comment have fun
Quanta cultura....aprendendo esses doces de outros países!!!
Adoro aprender coisas novas e sentir toda essa diversidade!!!
my gram used to make coffee jello....served with a tad of cream and sugar on it was awesome 👌
I'am in Indonesia. Yes we have but they're from coconut milk instead of milk & fruit! This is definitely worth to try!
Ini dodol gak sih kl d kita?
Me gustaría que me hicieras el favor de darme la receta que tu dices de coco en indonesia dios te bendiga grande mente ne voy a preparar este delicioso postre ahora en semana santa
@@parisbrussel9540 Yes! Looks like it! =)

Not all ppl get the notification u send in reply section.
cant wait to try this. a good tip if anyone got lumps is push the custard through a sieve then stir again over the heat until its gummy again
I made this with coffee flavour, kiwi and sapodil falvours just yesterday ... Different flavours same dessert.
I am subscribing to your channel because the measurements are in cup and spoon sizes... Thank you!!!
You’re welcome 😊
There's another similar dessert from the Chinese cuisine. We do it in the same way but the ingredient is slightly different. Lotus root powder is being used instead of corn starch. The texture of lotus root powder dessert is very soft & chewy, quite like glutinous rice flour. The only difference is after the dessert is completely cool at room temperature, you can feel the cooler sensation from this dessert when it's cooled in the fridge. So it's very suitable for a hot summer day. If you have a chance to get this lotus root powder, try to make it and you'll know. The ratio of this powder is usually 1: 6 - 1:9 ( 1 part powder 6-9 part liquid), it depends how jiggling you want it. Have fun to make during the summer months!
Thanks Sabrina for your comment. I will try it. Cheers 😊😊😋😋
Ya hice el de naranja 🍊me encantó haré este también genial para los cafeteros
Buenas tardes, sabes si en vez de azúcar se puede hacer con lecherita, quedará de la misma consistencia?
@@linamrestrepog5156 supongo que aún mejor
💜
I'm going to make this coffee one, UT I'm going to roll them in sugar mixed with cocoa powder,, I think it will be like mocha, thank you
Sounds great!
In India it’s called Bombay halwa, simple corn starch + sugar + dry fruits + saffron or food colour + dash of lemon and viola… halwa is ready!!
in Egypt, the famous dessert is kunafa and qatayef
🤗🥰I suggest you try them
Sounds great! thanks for the comment
Oh wow, that looks amazing! Coffee caramels! I'm definitely going to make it!
Hello Erin thanks for the comment have a good day
I made it. Couldn't dissolve the corn starch with that quantity of water, and added more. The result was it was so leaky that wasn't firm at all, even keeping it in the fridge. Nex time, I'll put half of the milk together with the sugar and add it to the water to solve the corn starch
I had that same issue.
As your stirring it drizzle in butterscotch 🤤
And instead of rolling it in sugar - use coconut flakes, nuts or unsweetened, powder Cocoa.
Looks delicious and really appreciate the measurements translation! 👍Thank you❤️
Thank you so much 👍
Will try it by adding coconut .
Gonna definitely try this when I get home
Have fun thanks
So delicious 😋.. oya in my country Indonesia, there is Dodol. Sweet from brown sugar.
Looks pretty good, but I would omit dipping in sugar at the end. Sugar overload. There’s already enough sugar in it. I think it would also be good as a custard pudding. I would have eaten it before it got to the hard stage. 👏👏
That is a whole lotta cornstarch!!!
Yes, we have the similar dessert in Kerala, its called halwa 😃
We have something similar to this in Antarctica 👍 it's delicious
This channel seem good for cooking something out of the ordinary. Is there any way to make cookies that tastes sweet but without sugar or expensive "liquid sweet" product? (Less ingredient)?
I tried this delicious recipe really it was loved by my family.
That looks MAGNIFICENT!!!! Would that work with Cocoa instead of Coffee?
Betty crocker fudge with ground coffee mixed in is quicker, easier and tastier!
Sounds good
Amazing 😍😁😁.. yes we in do have a sweet like this... In India... Karachi halwa... Flavour is different but texture and recipe r almost same,😊😊😊
so its a thick custard loaf :P
if you keep it in the semi thick stage while adding more butter it can whip up nicely for a cake filling
also im not a big fan of granulated sugar as a coating and i recon powdered would just get absorbed so maybe some finely copped hazenuts or maybe even a middle of layer flavor like cream or toffe... so many ideas so little time :P
or use relly strong coffe and make little esspresso bites to give an energy boost :P
Thanks for the tips!
What about cocoa powder as a coating?
Instant espresso powder might work in place of regular coffee to give it a stronger flavor.
It looks really delicious, I'll give it a try
Please try and let me know thanks for the comment
Hahaha i just came from the orange video, im going to do the cofee one for my Mom☺️
I must try this myself, thank you chef
It's added to my list of dessert
Looks delicious 😋 and yes please with a cup of coffee ☕️ too ☕️👍☕️👍☕️
Sounds good!
@@VARGASAVOURRECIPES Love my coffee ☕️👍☕️👍☕️
Molto buono grazie mille
Maybe light Brown sugar would be a better coating
تبرك الله عليك احلا عيلة
A mi, me gustaría ,en vez de azúcar, coco rallado. Igual se ve muy rico! Besos de Uruguay.
me encanta cuando tú mezcla se vuelve cremosa
I've followed your instructions and made it then eated all. Now i can not sleep
🤣🤣 next time you can use decaffeinated coffee

desert? not. breakfast? oh my yes! especially if you use instant espresso.
Super 👍 👍 👍 👍
Yo seguramente lo haré! Ojalá me quede bien!
There are many similar desserts, but not the same. This one should be delicious! It is like serving a dessert and the coffee at the same time.
Jelly and coconut milk, jelly mixed with natural fruits, jelly and natural flavors like lemon, pineapple, strawberry, orange, passion fruit, etc.
Can I use normal coffee available in market like Nescafe etc.
Second question :- how to solve thickening problem ?
By the way it looks delicious 😋 I will definitely try it tomorrow 😋
What thickening problems are you having. Also yes but the flavor will be weaker
Yes you can, they used instant coffee in this video.
Que delicia de postre me lo voy a preparar en semana santa
What is this type of sweet called? Looks amazing! 🙂
Gonna try this, looks very interesting. And delicious
Starving, and always don’t have corn starch! Let’s see if I forget about buying some again as soon as the next video ends😅

I’d like to add nuts. Also I have an espresso machine; could I add that instead if instant coffee? Also if you don’t add coffee, would you have a vanilla dessert, maybe add some vanilla extract?
Claro que si lo voy a hacer se ve delicioso, tipo tofee
