I thought that the k24 had welded on exhaust manifold, so u couldn't put headers on?
Just like using Big block Chevy headers on Big block Cadillac heads.
But I just don't understand why people cut the flanges out of such thin stock(?)
Should be 12-13mm or 1/2" thick.

Are the holes in the subframe add on bits for rigidity?
SPEED HOLES!
(yes, the dimple increases rigidity and strength, but also saves weight)
They're there to add weight for traction in the corners. Makes entry/exit speed way faster. Aka speed holes. It's all about ballast.
