    This is some good advice. I started eating better and taking health more seriously and I definitely have less pains when playing and more consistently play up to my skill level

    I popped a shoulder in a trailbike accident when i was 40... I said to my physio (hospital never told me I needed to get physio when I popped my shoulder.. 1st time in hospital.. at 40)..
    anyhooze.. Said to my physio, all i want to do is get back to this (touching my hands behind my back)... She said That's ok.. most guys your age can't do that...
    (Still can at 55)..
    Took up downhill MTB at 50 (decided after "spraining" my wrist on said trailbike (ok so it's a YZ250 and after a month, when I woke up with my arm asleep, unrestricted, I went to A&E.. "So you have a chip out of your Ulna... And you broke the end off your Radius diagonally through the wrist.. and you've got some bits of bone floating in your wrist... Are you in any pain?"
    "Meh ! "...
    Anyway the DH riding involved getting to the top of a hill before bouncing my way back down... Great for fitness...
    Unfortunately I took up Disc Golf 2 years ago.. and keep deferring the riding for... throwing plastic at trees...
