Some jarred jalapenos do not have as good of a medium crunchy texture, I think that is important also. The ones that do not have any of that good texture are much less appealing.

I added moderate amounts of fruit and berries to my very strict, Lion diet for about 2 weeks. It kicked me out of Keto, which was to be expected. Other than that, I was convinced that it may have been a good idea until my allergy symptoms started returning. That's when I decided to stop that experiment.

You don’t need to do that. On a sedentary day the body still needs 150g carbs. Yeah the body will make it on its own it’s just energetically inefficient

I eat blueberries but in small amounts and on occasion after my sole ketovore meal. Helps me stay on track. Juice is a no-no. Pure sugar/fructose!

Fruit and Meat with added fiber from Avocados is a great diet. Fruit in the morning and lunch, meat for dinner.
Fiber is completely unnecessary and avocados are high oxalate. Fruit will not allow your body to become energy efficient, it's worth trying to become truly fat adapted at least once.

i dont think so because evolutionary is like a happy drug that give u a high such as even alcohol. fruit honey makes me temporarily happy and energetic but then crash and when i crash i get even hungrier for more fruit. however if i limit it to like a serving or 2 serving a day then it is a nice treat.

Yes! Something really strange is working for me great. I got Covid recently and I had to find something’s to eat because my regular food was not sounding good at all. So I started incorporating a lot of white foods like ramen noodles, white pasta and organic pancakes you get from Trader Joe’s, I don’t know if you have that store. Bread did not work great though. I have no idea why this works. This lady told me that she ate white pasta and stuff like that and it worked for her and so I remembered that and decided to try it. I am like you trying everything over and over. It’s working amazing. I don’t use pasta sauce though, I use butter instead. And If I eat the ramen I only eat a tiny bit of the flavor packet.

Common Kasey, with all the years you've been doing these you should know that Apples are one of the hardest fruits to digest, they can cause bloating even in small quantities. I always juice or bake Apples, never raw for sure jeje
I don't experience problems with them. What other fruits would a Canadian eat in March, be realistic. We can store apples throughout the winter.

Ever tried juicing them? But I never had issues with apples but it could be food combining issues. Did you eat them by themselves? Like you shouldn’t mix them with melons for example. Melons shouldn’t mix with anything because they digest the fastest. So mixing apples with a faster digesting fruit could cause issues.

Apple fibers are high fodmap and not good for an impaired gut. And the apple juice is high fructose to glucose ratio. The extra fructose may go undigested and feed bad bacteria. Fruits that have equal glucose to fructose help you digest the fructose completely.
My fave juices are grape, pomegranate, and pineapple.

Ive been frutarian, lost 65 lbs on it. then relapsed to the typical crap diet and alcahol. Gained back 35lbs. Went carnivour, lost the weight I gained back. Like you i'm currently in the dilemma of fruit and meat mixing. Thinking there's something to not combining foods, order you eat foods, fruit first then slower digesting meat. Or in seasonal or mono meals. It's not like hunter gatherers ate fruit and then killed a Buffalo to top it off. Or saved fruit from summer to go with there winter carnivour diet. I also tried the blood type diet. And just heard of a mucusless diet. On a youtube video called Art of fuel. Bryan mirabella, frutarian and Marine. He talks about being a carnivour till it became his problem. How it's highly detoxing. I miss the frutarian no poop on the toilet paper. You wipe and the papers clean. No residue on the paper. No residue in my insides. But the devils in the details pure fruits healthy, pestisides on fruit. Boom skin rash hell. And to eat only organic fruit is a expensive nightmare. Especially in winter. So carnivour by winter, fruitarian by summer, unless you or I or someone can find the meat fruit marrage balance.

Apples and pears are higher FODMAP foods. They give me a bit of indigestion too. Stick with easier to digest fruits man, like bananas, oranges, mangos, and berries. Where I feel best is basically paleo, but no nuts, low fodmap, and the foods with low lectins/anti nutrients overall.
Mango is a high FODMAP fruit too.

When u have been eating meat it takes time for bowel transit to occur. So wheb u start to eat fruits they will go in and ferment any meat that still hasnt passed in your colon. You will get gas and fermentation. You dont want fermentation. You should try wild fernented foods to help you heal your gut and boost your microbiome especially if you plan on eating everything. Fruits are best early morning or noon when the sun is high. Agaun u need to make sure you are going to the bathroom 1-3 times a day. Try dmso internally and also try probiotics from fermented foods. Fermenting fairy has great products that heal the gut! You can also look into drinking North side magnetic water, look into William phillpot on this
For omega 3, I take brunswick's sardines fillets golden smoked, it the best tasting sardines I've try. You should try it.

The good thing about a fruit and meat diet is that it tastes good, and they are both healthy. Plus, you get all macro’s-carbs plus the protein and fat. Plus you get the bioflavonoids in fruit, plus the C, etc. Meats don’t have the bioflavonoids at least.
I don’t drink fruit juice, but I do drink Nuun juice (different flavors), prebiotic soda, herbal tea a bit, Kyani electrolyte drinks, Amare happy juice, etc. I think whole fruit is always a better idea than fruit juice, but if you do fruit juice, do stuff with pulp in it, etc. Smoothies as well maybe, etc.
I guess no veggies (or nut butters, etc.) right now…. Well, I suspect that you will likely be adding these guys back into your diet at some point…. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

I’ve been on ketovore/omad for 7 days now and my stomach feels great. But I’m still very depressed and don’t have much energy. Usually I feel ketosis kick in after only two or three days and then I’m bouncing off the walls, fueled by bacon. Don’t get the “keto flu”, but quite the opposite. I guess I just need to be patient but that seemingly limitless energy and the feeling of burning my body fat is a big motivation to stick with it even when I start thinking about donuts again. Could be from mold maybe? I definitely need to do some spring cleaning and make sure nothing funky is growing under my bed.

As a whole food plant based raw foodist, I think the ice cream was a terrible choice. Get some bananas, freeze them, when frozen add to blender with another frozen fruit of choice and some fresh fruit. Play with the frozen to fresh ratio to get the consistency you want. More frozen fruit will make it thicker more ice cream consistency. But this will make some yummy banana nice cream. I love it with fresh strawberries and frozen blueberries. And it’s healthier. No telling what’s in that ice cream. Also, try fresh fruit juice, invest in a juicer if you haven’t already, and juice it. Those store bought juices are terrible.
I think it’s fascinating how yall just eat meat, dairy, and eggs? How many times do yall poop in a day? Just curious! I would probably die but I’m naturally a tropical person so my body is different. 90% of my diet is fruit 😂 and yes I feel great.
You should try more low fodmap fruits if possible, apples are high. See if there's any difference.

Strawberries have relatively no carbohydrates, apples are high fodmap. I don’t think you will really feel the benefit of carbs till you hit at least 200g a day

The thing to bear in mind is, there is very little redundancy in evolution. What I mean is that if one process works another will shut down. Now during our evolution, our diets produced short-chain fatty acids from the micro biome that consumed the fibre in our gut, the short-chain fatty acid directly feed the energy mechanism of the cells of your gut. So in terms of healing, that arguably is a good thing. They are using short-chain fatty acids or butyrates for the cells of your gut to gain energy. With energy comes repair defence against cancer and other benefits. So I would just be cautious to say fibre does not heal the gut or has no effect on the gut because it's an avenue that should be explored. If I were you I would keep experimenting with the vast array of plant products from around the world until you find one your body really agrees with. Or get a faecal transplant, just food for thought. Wishing you the very best
