  • Living in Newfoundland, these are some of the places we've been, and the people we have met in our first year here on the rock. It's been a great journey so far and we are just getting started. Clifford said it best "some story isn't it?"
1 Year Living... in Newfoundland. What started out as a way to show our friends and family our new life in Newfoundland turned in to so much more. We have received views, comments and messages from all over the world.
We have had so much fun exploring, discovering and meeting new people. Thank you to everyone for the support, watching our video's and the amazing Newfoundland hospitality.
Some of the great BnB's we've stayed in this year, or have made connections.
Inn by the Bay Ltd,. SeaGlass B & B and Studio, The Salt Water Villa,
Legge's Sunset Inn, Islands'Villa-Lewisporte Newfoundland, Bemisters Manor Vacation Rental,
The Cove vacation rental carbonear / the-cove-vacation-rent...
    Iceberg Properties Twiilingate: icebergproperties.weebly.com
Tours we have been on Laurentian Legacy Tours, Twillingate Adventure Tours, Bay De Verde Heritage Premises, Coppers Cove Guided Hike
We have met so many amazing people since moving here. Whether it's meeting people on the trails, through others, or just walking down the road. It amazes us when we meet someone while walking through a community, and get invited back to their home for tea and a snack, or just to show us something, or share some stories. It's just wonderful! Some of these fantastic people you will see in this video.
Clifford George, Edwin Bishop, Carl Slaney, Michelle Penney-Rowe and the lovely ladies in the painting class, Walter Lynch, John Gilbert, Grant White, Karen Smith-as the hobby horse in the mummers parade.
It was also fantastic to help raise awareness of the Newfoundland Ponies for the Newfoundland Pony Society through video, and photos we took of the ponies for an article in Downhome Magazine. What an honour!
We also helped with some photos for Trinity Historical Society Inc. to use in their Adopt a Headstone fundraiser.
We also had one of our photos of Kent Cottage in Brigus use by Landfall Trust for their Quarterly news letter.

This has to be by far the most beautiful video I have seen on NFLD! You have so eloquently captured the beauty of every season. There’s so much negative said about the amount of snow, but you have made it look so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your first year’s journey with us. Congratulations on your first anniversary, and wish you many more to come!

@@DiscoveringNewfoundland I'm so sorry, I'd seen this. If you ever take a walk around the town, please take a camera! I'd bet there are people there who remember my Dad Dr Derek Price - he worked I think in a small hospital there and delivered lots of babies. My mum wrote a piece for the Women's Institute here in the UK about her experiences in Old Perlican. Shall look at your Facebook page later - I'm not very good at it!
