- What forms need to be filled out to FLY with a service dog? Every airline has slightly different service dog policies for airplanes. Department of Transportation has service dog guidelines to follow for flights with a service animal. When I first considered flying with Buddy, I didn't know what was required. I had so many questions! But this form is very simple to fill out.

Good luck with your procedure! Praying for you Jen. As nervous as I was when I took Gypy on a plane for the first time, everything went great. I discovered she likes to look out the windows in the airport and watch the luggage cars and planes. She's not thrilled with the take-offs or landings when we're IN the plane, but she's a trooper and doesn't move. We've flown many times and I'm just so blessed to have her with me.

Wow, thank you for this video, which I am 5 months late to view. I have had my service dog for 9 years now. A few years after my dog entered my life, I started working on the Board of a service dog organization. That organization has been highly focused on trying to improve air transportation for service dog handlers and service dogs themselves. I had previously been on many flights where allowances for service dogs were abused by people attempting to travel with their pets as service dogs. Having the new laws/rules over the past few years has made a huge difference in my own experience, and I greatly appreciate your video explaining how to fly with your service dog in this new environment. I know people who have trained their dog (and sometimes their cat) to use the toilet.
Sometimes you can even get them to flush.

Would you be able to fill it out and save it with the date empty, and then just write in the date every time? I guess you could also sign it every time too. Edit: I have a migraine and forgot to finish, what I meant was would that count as filling it out after the ticket purchase if that's required?
Yes! I have a digital copy all filled out on my computer desktop so I can just verify, print, sign, and date!
Question for you Jen… when you are “Migraine Jen”, is that due to the migraine causing your cognitive function to change?? Or, is it from the fluid leak/pressure? I can see the “shift” so clearly on your videos from your clear, regular self, to migraine Jen. Just don’t understand what causes that cognitive change. Thank you and God bless you! 🙏💜
Love this question and it took a while for me to figure out! It's a migraine cycle being triggered by that underlying leak/pressure situation. I have a certain tolerance for triggers etc... the leak being just one of them. Then I get an alert from Bud, go through aura attack and postdrome. The pressure stuff is happening on its own schedule, I just never knew it before because it was all just all the time.

There's def some cognitive problems with the high pressure and with the leak, but the migraine jen personality is a typical migraine attack coming on. I see the pressure problems as a trigger just like certain foods or strobing or loud music - I have a certain tolerance but then it triggers a migraine cycle.

@MommingwithMigraine I didn't realise I had worded that like a question haha, just had a moment where I thought I could hear a difference. I'm now wondering how different I sound as I have been asked before if I was drunk. Had to try and figure a way of saying no that didn't sound like I was actually drunk but hiding it. Today is currently day 2 of a migraine but at the I just want to sleep stage, meds haven't stopped it so in a couple of hrs I'll be in my darkened room and hopefully sleeping b4 the really bad nausea and pain starts
