    I’ve had a 97 Timberwolf since I was a kid. I moved away and let it sit for a couple years. I recently just got a 03 bear tracker and I have been stealing parts off my Timberwolf. Eventually I’m going to try and have them both running. Love these things!

    G'day from Western Australia. I have a 98 timberwolf that my daughter rides, and loves. I recently had to replace the coupler gear between the drive shaft and input shaft, which made for a good opportunity to check the brakes and give the did a good clean out. I wasn't sure about the fill level for the diff so thanks for posting this. Much appreciated. Enjoy and stay safe.

    I'm completely going over may overall be one of the best shape for the age. Luckily I know the history of this 250. It has had 2 owners. Also remember the quad from a boy and seen it up till I was driving then it disappeared. To be told later an older generation bought the 250 due to jumping time. So now right at 36 years old I'm restoring it for the older generation that bought it

    Hi Avery - I've been riding my 250 Timberwolf through long grass and it's disconnected a wire below the gear shifter which tells electrics it's in neutral. So my green light won't come on and starter won't engage. Would you be able to show me how/where the wires connect under the engine? Thanks

    Nice Video, thank you.
    Cool wheely
    What kind of towing power would you rate these at..?
    And is there a low ration gear for towing. . . ?
    I just purchased one of eBay and collecting tomorrow, now I'm wondering if it will pull my trailer with rubble up slight incline, about 5 degrees. . . . . :-/

    • @averybryant
      @averybryant  Před 4 lety +1

      First gear is pretty good for towing. Make sure you’ve got good tires on the back and you should be fine. I can try and find the tow rating on mine later today. Thanks for watching

    • @averybryant
      @averybryant  Před 4 lety +1

      I definitely would. Parts are very cheap for these machines and they are tons of fun. Just make sure you maintain the rear axle and take it easy on the brakes and you will basically only have to pay for gas and maintenance every now and then

      I've had numerour people wanting to buy mine. The great thing about these smaller quads is that when you do get stuck, they are easy to pull out. And I use it around the farm so it gets dirty, not a ton of power but enough for most things.

      @@strattonthewolf213 LOL, thats hilarious. My idle is off so I kept burning out the starter. The rope has always worked great, unless I'm deep in the woods and then it decides to give me a hard time. Its my dads machine and he said theirs no fixing the idle but it really shouldn't be THAT tough. Do you mean it doesn't even ALLOW a pull cord or just didn't have one? I'd never heard of that, actually I haven't even bothered hooking by battery up since charging it because I remembered that it pretty much is only useful for the starter.
