They have never said there was a Palestinian state before 1948, that's a fake argument that people in the west have. When they say their land was stolen, they don't mean territory, they mean their property... the homes, their farms. They managed to live their lives just fine under Ottoman and then British rule, because land ownership - which is private property - isn't affected by a simple change of government. But the Israeli government that came in 1948 didn't want to respect this, they kicked people out of their homes to give them to people from Europe, a process that has never stopped since... the whole thing about a state is just paperwork that uninformed people obsess about... what matters on the ground is that Europeans arrived with huge amounts of guns and have been brutally killing people ever since, and they won't stop until they have done to Arabia what was done to America and Australia... ie, kill the people who live there, and act entitled to claim to be the real owners of it. When everyone's dead, then they'll start being honest and say "yeah we stole their land" like everyone knows about N.America and Australia and pretend people just had "different values" in the past.
