So let me get this straight, with the alien armada in earth orbit and giving earth 24 hours to surrender, earth forces were able, in that same 24 hours, assemble a lone super weapon on the moon, use said super weapon to destroy the alien armada and send the alien flag ship crashing down to earth. And in a span of a few hours, repair alien flag ship, comondere it and fly it to another star system to destroy an alien supply depot? And fly it back to earth? Then use a scout ship and fly to the alien homeworld, destroy a super weapon, fly back and the 2nd enemy armada still hasn’t reached earth? Amazing.

Yep. At my point in the story, with the alien fleet surrounding Earth, they are blasting hundreds of ships to the moon to build this super weapon. lol.

While you are correct, they didn't intentionally do it. These stories are written by AI. A real author would realize it would take more than 24hrs to come up with a plan for a rail gun in the moon, convince all of humanity to work together to build the rail gun in the moon, gather resources to build a massive rail gun in the moon, fly everyone, and everything to the moon, excavate massive portions of the moon, build a massive rail gun, and verify that the weapon will actually function. All in 24months, maybe. And that's a very unlikely maybe.
The AI isn't creative. It just consumes existing stories, blends them all up, and regurgitates something reflecting what the user asks for. It just so happened that they got a StarTrek species name this time. Still very likely to get them sued, but they have a defense in saying "It was the AI that did it." I doubt that will win the case for them, but the argument is there.

Why are the humans so worried? If they can go to the moon, build a base and massive tunnel complex, build a massive railgun in 24 hours, surely they can go to the astroid belt, build a fwe shipyards and have a massive armada built within a couple of weeks. I mean, it should be very easy for them.
