I enjoyed seeing your Top Ten for 2023. I love to read books and have my whole life. I was glad to see two of Renee Rosen's books in your top ten because I had read both of them this year as well. I am a member of the "Baby Boomer" generation and love the fact that lots of books work for multiple generations. I agree with you that lots of books these days have "cheesy" covers and I always skip them when buying books. They look targeted to teenagers/young adult and I will be happy when publishers make better covers. I have a friend that feels the same way. I do enjoy your videos and book reviews. Yours Truly by Abby Jiminez and Love, Theoretically were my absolute favorite. As you mentioned the representation in YT was done beautifully. I don't think I've ever been able to relate to a MMC and man oh man was it done so good. I also ADORED the way their relationship started. I absolutely loved the romance in it. With LT... I was screaming, crying and wanting to throw the book across the room! And that's how you know it's a good book. The misunderstandings between the characters can be too much with other books but with these it was done so well and it fit into their character's personalities. I've added Before We Were Strangers and Forever, Interrupted to my list! Thanks for your recommendations!

My favorite book of 2023 was The house across the lake by Riley Sager. He is also my new favorite author. If you like suspense / mystery you would love any of his books. Great plots that are all different from any other books I have read before and they are not very predictable which I like.

LOVED this video!! In late 2022 I started getting back into reading, I loved it as a kid and lost my touch eventually. However, last year that all changed thanks to Colleen Hoover. My favorite book from 2023 out of ALL of them definitely has to be "Verity" by Colleen Hoover. It had so many twists and turns, and even made you feel scared. I loved it and I could NOT put that book down whatsoever!!

Clairement au début j’ai acheté toutes les sorties reliées. Mais j’ai eu quelques déceptions et j’ai réalisé qu’au final juste en lisant la quatrième de couverture je ne l’aurais pas acheté . Maintenant j’achète moins de livres en général (même budget mais prix qui augmente) donc j’ai été obligé de faire du trie ( même si j’ai l’impression de passer à côté de truc ENoRME quand je vois que tout le monde a ce livre que je n’ai pas ) . Ce que j’ai remarqué c’est que mon budget livre reste le même ( compte en banque non extensible ) et que je vais favoriser des relies aux autres donc j’achète plus de Young adult alors que mon genre préferé c’est l’historique. Au final j’ai eu moins de coups de cœur en 2023 qu’en 2022 . En 2024, j’ai décidé d’acheter le livre ( relié ou non) uniquement si c’est une sortie que j’attendais ( les sorties de mes autrices préférées d’historiques par exemple ).
