I said that I was not buying anymore bag patterns then saw that bag in a Facebook group..😂
Thanks for the tutorial.
Loving the new pattern watching the video first then going to get cutting! A tip I have for using webbing that frays so much like in the video is if you have pinking shears cut the webbing with those and it should at least stop the fraying whilst you are working on the grab handles!
Great tip!
I just finished making this. Great easy pattern, I love the tips you gave. I learned lessons from it! 😂😂 I thought ah my vinyl will e fine 😂😂 bulk was out this world even for my industrial machine! Boy 😅 my fault for not listening to you 😂😂
Easy pattern and great instructions!!
Lindsey I can’t wait to sew this bag. I have panels I’ve been wanting to use but don’t want to do a traditional tote. This will be perfect!
Awesome! Can’t waist to see 😀
Thank You so much for your time and effort on this video. I love it when a designer steps us thru their patterns and explain things as well. Great video! I will always purchase your patterns. Looking forward to the next design. Love this pattern.

Linds! Love the Christy pattern. As usual, I love that there’s a video for every pattern. You are great at explaining step-by-step. Definitely recommending these for friends of mine who would like to try their hands at making a bag. Love love love this bag! 💗
Thank you so much! They’re a lot of work but I know some people learn best with seeing it done. So glad you appreciate them!

🥰
Hi Lindsey thank you for this awesome tutorial. I am sorry if this is asked all the time but I love working with pretty and practical sewing tools. I noticed your ruler 😄and I love it and I would like to know where I could purchase one. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the world. Hope you are having a beautiful day!! 🙂
Do you mean the sewfriction ruler? I got that from sewful-therapy.com
Thanks for another great pattern! I'm making halfway through making one. Could you share what silver marking pen you're using? I used one today (from Moremeknow), but it did not disappear when I ironed over it.... so glad I marked the back
The silver pen you’re referring too is meant to be used on vinyl or leather where it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. The pen I used on my fabric is a frixion pen that is heat erasable. Very important to use the correct marking tool on the correct materials. Someone in the comments here said she has some heat erasable pens ink return in cold weather. Yikes! I haven’t had that happen yet but something to be mindful of for sure 😰
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns Yikes indeed! That would be terrible. I"ll use a Frixon pen that matches my fabrics just in case that ever happens to me. So do the Moremeknow pen cases fit a frixon pen refill? If so, I think I'll buy a few more and paint the end caps to have matching pens on my cutting table 😃
Lovely bag, thank you, can you tell me what bran of purple glue stick you use please, 👍
Thank you! I think it was just a generic target brand one. Any will do the job though.
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns thank you
Love the cheetah print! What sewing machine do you use?
For this bag I’m sewing on a juki TL 2000qi. My main machine for anything other than quilt cottons is a juki DU 1181n walking foot machine.
Cute bag! What zipper foot was that?
A zipper foot. Its just white because it’s a Teflon foot.
Are you sewing on a Juki TL 2010? If so, where did you get your narrow Teflon foot. Thanks.
By the way, fabulous job on another great pattern!
No this is the juki TL 2000qi. I bought this particular foot for my 8700 originally but they have the same high shank requirement so it works for both. I believe I got it in a multi pack off of Amazon a few years ago but cutex sewing supplies on Etsy has a lot of different feet for all the different machines. You may wanna check them out.
@@LindsHandmadeDesigns thank you!
I am new to bag making. So, when you say "use an interfacing heavier that SF101" for woven cotton, what do you suggest? Thank you!
Many small shops carry their own brand of woven interfacing now and it can get confusing which is comparable to what. I’m a big fan of the midweight stuff from Royalpixie custom fabrics. It’s called “pixiefuse premium”. Here’s a linkroyalpixiefabric.com/collections/interfacing/products/pixiefuse-premium-interfacing
