Redman held a patent for "Redmanol", which is still highly regarded for its qualities in his early pipe-stems, pre-dating his joining Bakelite as research chemist. Wondering if Redman was responsible for what's known as cherry-amber Bakelite? or contributed to refining Bakelite's transparent red - early pieces said to be brittle - while still quietly holding patent to his product? When will the full film be available for the public to view?
