I am so glad for those reprints, i love how the sqaure ennix is crushing the secondary market with those products. Its a card game at first, everyone should have to get the same opportunity to compete. Therefore is FF the best, they are not feeding the secondary market. I feel not bad for all those collectors siting on their amaterasus and bismarcks. This saves any player hundreds of dollars to get into game. Its by far the best product in the history of any tcg.
To your first point (before edit lol) I think I highlighted the important stuff like chocobo,robel,etc but overall I do agree with you this is a great item I can think of ton of people I have tried to show the game too over the last couple of months who would appreciate this greatly and like you said now everyone can compete equally and budget friendly

I am so hyped for this product, i am from city where there is no FF community, i am collecting and brewing decks for my friends from my collection since opus 1. This product for me is a holy grail. It was very difficult to put amaterasus or leviathans into decks for not only their prices but also their availability on CDM. Therefore i was biased, but when i calm a bit i deleted that message. Nevertheless thank you for this unbox, i am still believe that they put all those cards there, its crazy. I subscribed to your chanell btw, it looks like you have a great content.

As a new player, is this a good buy for a casual competitor (locals and casual play) and what would a decent competitive deck cost in addition to the box on average?
Hello! overall I do think this is a solid starting point for new players both casual and competitive because of the reprints. Now that being said you should prolly do some research on what you want to build before investing in anything. This game is cheaper buy-in than most tcg so an average deck can range from 100-150 and that depending on which elements you choose. Hope this helps bud! FFxiii is a quick way to make your locals not like you haha but still pretty cheap to update. Take some time and look around some tournament lists see what interests you
Who else is a category Anniversary forward? Or can Snow & Lightning give itself (themselves?) haste and the dull and freeze ability since it is also a card name Snow and card name Lightning in all situations?
There is a tidus/yuna from last years anni box, there is a warrior of light that came in a book they sold two years ago. And no they count as a single character so it would have to one of the others
